The Long Run

Chapter 5

I noticed Luke wasn't in bed so I got up and quietly walked downstairs. I could hear people talking when I got closer Luke was talking about Weston being after me and getting security. All of a sudden I heard Lance speak up and I froze where I was. I know I stood there for twenty minutes listening to Luke tell the guys all about what Weston had done to me. I quietly walked back up stairs and got dressed and packed my suitcase. I grabbed everything I need and walked down stairs. I picked up my keys and they finally seen me.

"Where are you going?" Luke asks

"I'm going to stay in my penthouse. While you can go to hell" I snapped at him

"Woah what did I do?" He asks

I look over and see a guilty Casey sitting there.

"And you just sat there and said nothing. So much for being best friends" I yell at her

She flinched and I seen tears gather in her eyes and I roll mine at her.

"You all can go to hell" I yell

I walk out slamming the door. I throw everything into my truck and I take off to the hotel. I pull in and park and I roll my suitcase in and to the front desk.

"Back again so soon sweetie" Donna asks

"Yeah." I tell her sadly

She nods and hands over my key and I go to my room. I slide my suit up against the wall and I kick off my shoes and crawl in bed without changing clothes. After hours of tossing and turning I finally managed to fall asleep again. When I woke up the next morning I showered and got dressed and headed down for breakfast.

"Ms. Hudson. Good morning. What would you like?" A waiter asks

"Hot tea. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast. Please" I tell him

"Very well. It will be out shortly" He says and walks away

A few minutes later he comes back with my hot tea and places it down and walks away again. I sit there sipping my hot tea when I see a man in a suit sit down across from me. I look up to see it's Cody.

"What are you doing here?" I ask sighing

"I'm here as a friend that's it. I didn't know the others didn't know. If I would have known I would have told him to shut up. I'm sorry you had to go through that" He says smiling sincerely

"Thanks Cody." I mumble and smile sadly at him

"I understand your mad and you have every right to be. And I'm not going to tell you that you need to talk to him but I'm going to tell you this. We aren't spending today in this hotel. We are going out. We are gonna go shopping and you are going to show me Texas your way" He tells me grinning

"Deal. But let me at least eat first. Are you hungry?" I ask

"Starving" He says

"Jules" I call

"Yes ma'am" He asks

"Bring my friend here the same thing as me but coffee" I tell him

"yes ma'am. Five minutes" He says and walks away

After we finished eating I stood up and so did Cody and we walked to the front door. I unlocked my truck and we headed to the mall. When we got there I drug Cody into the men's department and made him get out of that suit. After we shopped we got milkshakes and shopped some more. And when we were officially worn out we headed out to one of my favorite spots. When we got there a party was going on and I knew Buck was the one throwing it.

"Bucky boo" I shouted

"Sophy" He shouted and ran over to me spinning me around

"How are you honeybee?" He asks

"I could be better. But I'm here now and this is Cody a friend of mine. Where is Mills?" I ask

"She's inside." He tells me

I nod and run in and I squeal when I see her. She was very pregnant and I got down on my knees and kissed her tummy. I heard a click behind me and I knew it was buck.

"How long?" I ask

"four more months" She says

"But your huge. Not fat huge just pregnant huge" I tell her

"Twins" She says

My smile gets even bigger and I hug her.

"I'm so happy for you" I say crying

"Oh don't cry honeybee" Buck says

"I'm proud of you both. You made it through high school and college and are still together. Is there a wedding in the future?" I ask

"Possibly" Milly says

I smile and Cody wraps a arm around me.

"Who are you?" Milly says

"I'm Cody. I'm a friend of Sophia's. And I'm only a friend nothing more. She's my best friend" Cody says kissing my temple

"Aw you two are so cute. let me guess Casey?" Milly asks

"Of course. That girl is feisty and I love it" Cody says

I smile and wrap my arms around him.

"Alright let's go outside" Buck says

I nod and we walk outside for everyone. We were all chatting and goofing off when I hear Buck speak up.

"Everyone can I please have you attention. As you all know Milly and I are expecting our first two children. We always did everything backwards from loving each other before we even spoke to one another. To using honeybee as the middle man when we would fight. Let me tell you she kicked our asses and told us to work it out ourselves or stay away from each other. Sophy is the reason I have the love of my life. Mills I love you more than anything. Will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He asks

"Yes" I shout

"Hey that's my line" Milly shouts

"oops sorry I couldn't help it" I whine

"so?" Buck asks

"You heard Sophy." She says

Buck grins and slips the ring on her finger and leans down to kiss her. I squeal and run over to them and hug them both.

"Will you be my maid of honor?" Milly asks

"Of course. I wouldn't miss this for anything in the world." I tell her

"No you have to be my best man" Buck says

"I can do both. I got this" I tell them

They smile and hug me and I take pictures with them. Cody comes over and throws me over his shoulder and looks at Buck and Milly.

"Sorry guys I have to break up the party. She has somewhere to be" Cody says

"I'll call you tomorrow Mills" I shout

"Ok love you" She calls

"Love you too" I yell

Cody places me in the truck and he drives us towards my dads house.

"Cody stop I'm not going in there" I tell him

He parks and comes around and throws me over his shoulder and carries me in the house.

"Cody you d**k. Put me the hell down" I say slapping his ass

He slaps mine back twice as hard and I whine. I smack him again and he smacks me back harder.

"Cody put me down" I scream

"It's about f*****g time you got her here" Hunter shouts

"Oh go f**k yourself" I snap at him

"Enough" Dad shouts

Cody put me down and I turn to walk out and Cody spins me around and locks his arms around me holding me in place.

"Let go of me" I shout

"Calm down. We need to talk. Why the hell didn't you tell us what Weston done to you?" Lance shouts

"It's none of your f*****g business. That d**k over there had no right to f*****g tell you. I should have never trusted any of you to begin with. All i want to do is forget what that asshole did to me but no one will f*****g let me do that. I have lost all my respect for every single one of you." I scream

I grab Cody's arm and flip him over me and kick him in the stomach.

"Sophia Lynn" Dad shouts

"Oh shut up will you. And I thought I could trust you. You just turned out to be like them" I say looking down at Cody

He groans and I look at Casey who is crying.

"Oh dry the f*****g tears. Your no better than them. You had your chance to tell him to shut his mouth and you let him run it. You were the only person I trusted as a friend after what happened to me. You forced me to tell him and look what he does to me. I'm flying back to Florida in the morning and I don't give a f**k what the rest of you do" I say walking out and slamming the door I drive back to the hotel and as soon as I get to my room I go straight to bed. In the morning I shower and get ready and the I repack my suitcase. I make sure I have everything I go down to the front desk.

"Hi Donna. I'm leaving for the airport. My truck is out in the lot could you please give Tom a ring to have it picked up?"

I ask

"Of course. Have a safe flight sweetie" She says

I nod and slide over my keys and I go out to my cab. After making it to the airport I barely made my flight. I slept on the whole flight and when we landed I head for a hotel on the beach I wasn't ready to go back to campus yet. After checking in I went up to my room and changed into my bathing suit and walked down to the beach. I laid a towel down and laid down soaking up the sun.

"Ms. Hudson?" Someone asks

I look up to see Mr. Richards standing there.

"Mr. Richards Hi" I say standing up

"What are you doing here?" He asks

"Just enjoying spring break. I have three months till I graduate so I thought why not enjoy my last college spring break" I say smiling

"Well good for you. I hear your taking over the CEO position" He says

"Indeed I am." I say smiling

"Good for you. It's going to be great working with you" He says

"You as well. How is your wife?" I ask

"She is great. Always looking to host another glamorous party." He says grinning

"Well you tell her that when the time comes she will be planning my company party. I love her ideas" I say to him

"I will let her know. She would really like that." He says

"Me too" I tell him

"Well I'll let you get back to your tanning. Just curious. Are you seeing anyone?" He asks

"No I am not" I tell him honestly

"Would you like to come to dinner at my house tonight?" He asks

"I would love to. 7?" I ask

"Sounds great. I'll text you the address" He says

I nod and give him my number and he nods and leaves. I was done tanning so I went back to my room to shower and slip on a dress. I straightened my hair and did my make up and walked down to catch a cab. He took me straight to the address and I walked up and rang the doorbell. When it opened Mr. Richards was standing there.

"Sophia so glad you could make it" He says and let's me in

"Me too. I would have been having dinner alone tonight" I say smiling

"Well come on in. My son will be here shortly" He says and I nod

"Suzy this is Sophia Hudson." He tells his wife

"Nice to meet you Mrs. Richards" I tell her

"You too. How do you know my husband?" She asks

"Oh i'm about to take over the CEO position in three months at the office" She says

"This is the woman that is taking over your company?" She asks

"Wait your company?" I gasp out

"Yes ma'am. It's my company. I'm retiring and you are the head of your class. I wanted someone who is a hardass and you are." He says

"Dad" Someone calls

I freeze cause I know that voice anywhere.

"Luke come on in here" Mr. Richards says

He walks in and freezes mid step.

"Sophia" Luke says

"I'm sorry but I have to go" I tell everyone

"Sophia freeze" Mr. Richards says

I stop dead in my tracks and tense.

"Now what is going on with you two. You obviously know each other" He snaps

"We do know each other. We just broke up today" I say with my back to everyone

"Baby please just hear me out" Luke says touching my shoulder

I tense under his touch and he removes his hand.

"I trusted you" I whisper and walk away

Next thing I know I'm pressed to the wall with Luke pressed against me.

"Baby I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't have said anything but the guys love you and wanted to know what happened. I know it was your place to tell them but with that physco back I didn't want to take the chance of losing you when I just got you. You gave up New York for me the least I could do was protect you" He tells me looking in my eyes

"Get me out of here" I whisper biting my lip

"Dad we will talk tomorrow. Sophia and I have some things to work out" He tells him

"Sure son. Sophia raincheck?" He asks

"Certainly Sir" I tell him

He nods and winks at me and I give him a small smile. We walk outside and Luke opens his truck door and he drives us to my hotel. When we enter my room he shuts the door and pushes me up against the wall and kisses me hard. I moan into his mouth and wrap my arms around his neck and he grips my ass.

"Jump" He says

I jump and wrap my legs around his waist and he holds me up by my ass and walks me over to the bed. He drops me down and pulls my dress off and strips down to his boxers. He kisses me again and works his way down my neck and over my chest and down my tummy. He pulls back and rips my panties from my body and I gasp. He opens my legs and his head dives down sucking on my c**t. I moan loudly and he wraps his arms around my legs and holds me in place. He slides a finger in me and I lose it.

"Luke" I screamed out

I can feel him smirk against my flesh and he sits up and smiles down at me. I use my feet to push his boxers off and he takes in a sharp breathe.

"Are you sure?" He asks

"I'm not a virgin. I just want you to make love to me right now" I tell him

He nods and leans back kicking off his boxers and the leans down and lines up and sinks into me. I moan and dig my nails into his back and he hisses. He rocks in and out of me and picks up speeds. I flip him over and start riding him like my life depended on it. He reaches down and pinches my c**t and I c*m all over him and he follows. I collapse on his chest breathing hard and he wraps his arms around me.

"I love you. I know we haven't know each other long but I love you. It doesn't matter if we were together a day or months I love you Sophia Lynn Hudson more than anything" He tells me

I smile against his chest and I lean up to look at him.

"I love you too." I tell him smiling

He grins and I lay back down on him and smile.

"Bath now or in the morning?" He asks

"morning. Sleepy" I mumble into his chest

He chuckles but nods and pulls the covers over us. It wasn't long before I fell asleep and when I woke up the next morning I was still laying on Luke's chest. I smiled and leaned up to look at him and her was still sound asleep. I leaned up enough and the leaned down to kiss down his jaw to his neck. I bite down slightly I sucked on the spot. He moaned and his hands shot to my hips and gripped them tightly. I moved back up and kissed him good morning.

"Good morning to you too" He says grinning

I smiled and rolled off of him and stretched my cramped limbs, I sigh and stood up and walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I stepped in and sighed and I felt arms wrap around my waist. I leaned into him and he smiled against my neck. I picked up my shampoo and started washing my hair.

"Sorry your gonna have to smell like a girl today" I tell him

"I'm ok with that. It means I'll smell like you all day" he says smiling

I roll my eyes at him and finish washing up. I step out wrapping a towel around me and there is a knock on my door. I walk over and Jules is standing there.
