Chapter 9

Sophia's POV

There he was down on one knee and I was shocked and couldn't speak. 

"Soph" Hunter whispers in my ear

I look at him and he nods at Lance.

"Sophia?" Lance says

"No" I say 

"W-what?" He stutters

"I said no" I say straightening my back

"Why?" He asks standing up

"Because not even 24 hours ago you didn't want to be with me and now your proposing because i'm pregnant with your child. Stay away from me and my child" I say walking away from him

"Sophia stop" Lance shouts running after me

I spin pulling out Greg's gun from his hip and aiming it at Lance. He stops dead in his tracks and looks shocked. 

"Stay away from me" I say with tears streaming down my face

"Soph baby put it down" Dad tells me

"No. He looked me right in the face and told me he didn't love me or want to be with me. He is only doing this cause i'm pregnant. Well I don't need him. I'm the black widow, I take care of my own. If he comes within a hundred feet of me I will drop him like the pest that he is. This was suppose to be my day and now it's ruined." I say 

I drop the gun and run out. Allen runs up next to me and sweeps me off my feet and rushes me to his car. He drives me back to the penthouse and tells the attendant at the front desk not to let anyone up but a handful of certain people. He gets me upstairs and helps me change clothes. After getting into comfy clothes I walk out on my balcony and sigh. I feel a arm wrap around me and I lean into Allen. 

"It will be ok. Hey I have vacation time how you would like to go with me to visit my family? You could get away and travel while you can" He asks me

"That sounds amazing. When can we leave?" I ask him

"In the morning. I can have Marcy pack for you tonight and we can leave first thing in the morning." He says

I nod and we head back inside just as the guys and Marcy walk in. 

"Marcy can you pack for Sophia. We are going to my sisters for a week." Allen says

"Of course. Any type of specific weather?" Asks Marcy

"It's gonna be cold" Allen says

"Where the hell does she live?" I ask 

"The rocky mountains. They have snow right now" Allen says

"Ooh we can take baby pictures" I say getting excited

"Yes we can. My sister is a photographer" Allen tells me

"OOh yay." I say smiling

He chuckles and the next thing I know my front door comes flying open and everyone from the baby shower comes running in. 

"What the hell" I shout

"We are sorry. We know you wanted this to be a big special day for you so we brought the presents and food to you" Dad tells me

"Thank you daddy" I tell him smiling

He hugs me and kisses the top of my head. 

"Alright presents" Someone says

I take a seat and presents are handed to me. 

"This is from me" Allen says

I smile and start opening it to find the most beautiful purple baby dress I had ever seen.

"I thought it would be perfect for her homecoming day" He says

"It's beautiful. Thank you" I tell him

He nods and everyone moves on to giving me more presents. 

"Alright my present has two parts to it" Dad tells me

He helps me up and walks me down the hall to a door. He pushes it open and I gasp.

"Daddy this is amazing" I tell him looking at the new nursery

"I kind of had a feeling and got it done asap. Now one more present" He says tossing me keys

I look at him and tilt my head.

"You need a car big enough for the baby and that is safe so I bought you one. I know you love you truck so this is a durango. Still big but safe" He tells me

I walk over and hug him and sigh. 

"Where is she?" I hear someone shout

I walk out into the living room to see my mother and Lance standing there.

"Get out" I tell them both

"We only want to talk" Lance says

I sigh and walk over to my chair and before I sit down I get this sharp pain and I grip my side and gasp. Allen jumps up and grips my arm and looks at me. 

"Sorry that hurt. I'm fine" I tell him

He helps me sit down and sits beside me. He lays a gun in my lap and winks at me. 

"Just encase you wanna get rid of them" He says smirking

I hold his hand and he gives mine a squeeze. 

"Don't let go" I tell him

He nods and goes to looking out the window.

"Soph i'm so sorry." Lance starts

"Ok" I say 

"Sophia please just try to understand" My mother says

"I don't want to understand anything. I don't want you in my life and I don't need you Lance. If you haven't noticed i'm a big girl. I can provide for your mistake but this baby will never be a mistake to me. I  want you out of my home and I don't want you to ever some back. I will explain to her what happened and why i'm doing what i'm doing and if she decides at 16 that she wants to meet you and be in her life then that will be her decision." I say

I squeeze Allen's hand tightly and he gasps and I look at him.

"sorry" I mumble

He runs his thumb over the back of my hand and I calm down slightly. 

"Sophia please" Lance begs

"Get out" I growl

"No" He says

I pick up the gun and aim it at him and shoot him in the arm. He yells out and grips his arms.

"Out" I snap

"Sophia" My mother says

I aim it at her next and shoot her in the leg. Allen runs up to me and takes the gun from me and I feel myself sway. I stumble and then I feel myself fall. I never hit the floor but I hear someone groan under me. 

"Are you ok?" I hear

"Hmm" i hum out

"Baby talk to me. Are you ok?" I hear

"I'm fine" I mumble and snuggle closer

"Soph let's get you out of the floor" Allen says

He lifts me into his arms and I snuggle further into him. He takes me to my room and lays me on my bed and I look at him.

"Can we leave night?" I ask

"Yeah i'll arrange it sweets" He says and walks out

Allen's POV

I walked into the living room and seen everyone sitting around.

"Marcy could you get her things together now. We will be leaving tonight" I ask her

"Right away." She says

I nod and she walks off.

"leaving?" Hunter asks

"I'm taking her to my sister's for a week or two. My sister is a photographer as well and Soph wants her maternity pictures taken so I'm having my sister do them" I say eyeing Lance

He tenses and sighs and hangs his head.

"Don't pout you done this to yourself. She would have said yes in a heartbeat if you were't such a d**k" I snap at Lance

"Don't talk to me like that. I'm your boss" Lance roars standing up

"Then learn how to treat her" I roar back

"Al" I hear

I push past him and walk in to Soph's room to find her in the bathroom floor throwing up. 

"Oh baby. Let's get you cleaned up." I say picking her up

I sit her on the counter and start cleaning her face. After I was done I carried her to the living room and laid her on the couch. Everyone had cleared out besides the fellows. 

"hey sweets. I never got to give this to you" Jack says kneeling in front of her

She leans over and opens the bag he gave her and pulled out a purple blanket.

"aw this is so cute." She tells him

"I had it made for her. Once you pick a name i'll have her name put on it" He tells her

"Thank you. I love it" she tells him

"I'm glad. The fellows got you some stuff but i had them put it in the nurserey and you can open it later" He tells he

"Thanks." She says yawning

"Anytime" He says and kisses her forehead

"come on  love. You can sleep on the plane" I say helping her up

"my pillow and blanket" She mumbles

"Don't worry love. Marcy packed everything and I got your carry on bag." I tell her

She nods and I walk her to the car. We drive to the airport and get on the private jet. 

Skip Plane Ride

When we landed my sister was there waiting on us. 

"Makayla" i say running over to her

I wrap her in my arms and hug her tightly. 

"Hey Ally" She says hugging me back just as tight

"Al" I hear

I pull back from my sister to see Soph barely standing.

"Sorry love" I say lifting her in my arms

"Hi. I'm Makayla this goofballs sister" Makayla says

"I'm Sophia his boss" She says smiling

"Oh come on your family love." Allen says

I smile and lay my head on his shoulder.

"When are you due?" Makayla asks as we get in the car

"five months so April" She says smiling

"Ah so cute. Do you know what your having?" She asks Soph

"A girl" Soph answers

"ooh you have to let me do your maternity pictures" Makayla says

"Of course. Al said you were the best. I would like some outside if possible. The snow is amazing" I comment

"i can work with that." She tells Sophia

Soph smiles and I drive us to the house. When we arrive I turn around to see Sophia sound asleep.

"She was tired" My sister says

"Yeah she has been through a lot lately. Sleep is the only time she looks peaceful." I say looking at her

"You care for you" Makayla says

"I do. But as my boss or sister. She's in love with someone who doesn't see what he has right in front of him." I say

"Well his loss. Now let's get sleeping beauty in a bed and i'll get dinner started" She says

I nod and open the back door and lift her sleeping body into my arms and carry her inside. I place her near my room and then I head down to help Kay. About a hour later a groggy Sophia walks in the room.

Sophia's POV

"Well hello there  beautiful" A man   says

I jump and stare at him with my hand over my heart. 

"Don't mind him sweetie. Damion leave Sophia alone or I will hurt you" Makayla says

"Oh honey I was only admiring her beauty but I only have eyes for you" The man says kissing her

"Ignore him sweet pea. This arrogant ass is my brother in law." Allen says

"Sorry I startled you." He tells me

"Just be glad I didn't have my gun or taser" I say walking around him

Allen chuckles and I smirk. 

"Now where are the monsters I heard so much about?" I ask

"ah in the living room. Rae, Tea come say Hi" Allen calls

The two littles come running in and tackle my legs. I go down but I catch myself and laugh.

"woah guys careful" Allen snaps

"Hush I'm fine. You must be Raegan and Teagan" I say to them

"Yup that's us" Raegan giggles

"Ah well i'm Sophia. Say what were you two doing in the living room?" I ask

"Watching Lion King" Teagan squeals

"That's my favorite movie. Say can I come watch with you. The grown up are having a boring talk and it's no fun" I say pouting

The squeal and I jump up and I struggle to get out of the floor and when i finally make it everyone was looking at me. I wink at them and let the littles drag me to the living room. I sat down on the couch and the little crawled up and snuggled into my sides and we sat there watching the movie. We were only half way through the movie when I realize the littles were sound asleep. 

Allen's POV

After Sophia walked of the kitchen smirking I smiled. 

"She's sassy" Makayla says

"She is." I say chuckling

"Your brother will be here soon. Set the table and then get the littles ready" She tells me

i nod and Damion and I get to work. When we get done Sophia goes to change clothes and comes back just as all the food is placed on the table. I pull her chair out and she takes a seat. We all take a seat and I see Soph eyeing the other place setting. 

"Our other brother is joining us" I tell her

She nods and I fix her plate. She mumbles a thank you and I nod and smile at her. Soon enough my brother walks in and looks at us. 

"Hey sorry i'm late" He says

I see Sophia tense and I look at her.

"You ok?" I whisper in her ear

"Take the littles out of the room now" She tells me

I look at her and she glares. I get up and run them outta the room. I come back and everyone is looking at her strangely. She reaches over and snatches my gun and spins around.

"Hello Weston" She says aiming it at him

"Sophia" Weston gasps

"oh yes. Now tell me again how your whole family was dead" She snaps at him

"Sophia don't do this" He yells

"Did you know that your brother here dated me?" Sophia asks

"No we didn't." Makayla says walking closer

"Makayla i'm not going to shoot you or hurt your family. But after i'm done your going to want to shoot your brother. Yes your brother and I dated in high school. We moved in together after high school. Once we did he changed. He beat me, starved me, and left me for dead." Sophia yells

"He couldn't have" Makayla whispers

"Allen go get my lap top" Sophia tells me

I nod and walk off and come right back. I open it and she puts in a password and logs in. She opens a few files and tells us to look.

"Weston is this true?" I ask

"Brother no" He says

"Bull s**t. I have police reports where he stalked me. He was charged with domestic violence towards me. I have all the reports. Did you know he got me pregnant and beat me so bad that I lost my child?" She says laughing

"Get out" Makayla says

"Kay" Weston says

"Get out of my house you bastard. If you come near me or my family I will kill you myself" She yells slapping him across the face

He raises his hand to slap her back and we hear a shot. He yells out and we see Sophia panting hard.

"Next one will be in the head. Get out" Sophia says

Weston growls and stomps and and we hear a clatter and I see Sophia eyes roll back in her head. I jump catching her and Makayla is beside me in a instant. 

"Call 911. Makayla watch her I have a call to make" I say

She nods and I run off calling Lance. He says they will take the private jet and be here in a hour. I hang up and drive us to the hospital. When we arrive and get inside to find out she being looked over so we had to wait. 

"Is Aunt Sophia ok?" Raegan asks

"She is going to be fine" I tell her

She nods and leans into me and Lance comes running looking around.

"Calm down they said she passed out and shes being put in a room as we speak." I tell her

"Family of Sophia" A doctor says

"Yes" Lance says stepping forward

"Well she is going to be fine. She's in the room right down the hall." The doctor says

Sophia's POV

When I woke up I heard a beeping and I looked around to find myself in a hospital bed. I sighed and closed my eyes and I heard the door open and I sigh. I didn't open my eyes cause I knew who it was. I could smell his axe cologne and new it was Lance. 

"Thank god your ok. I don't know if you can hear but baby i'm so sorry. I swear I will do whatever it takes to make this work even if it's just helping you raise our daughter." He says placing his hand on my belly

I feel him lean down and kiss my forehead and pull back. I peek a eye open to see him about to walk away. My hand shoots out grabbing his arm and he spins around looking at me. He sighs and leans down sitting in the chair next to my bed. 

"Are you ok?" He asks

I nod and close my eyes and open them again to see this pained look on his face.

"What's wrong?" I whisper

"I'm so happy your ok" He says in a choked voice

I sigh and close my eyes and I hear the door open and close. I open my eyes to see Makayla standing there and her bottom lip quivered. 

"Lance give us a minute" I whisper

"I'm not leaving you" He snaps

"Oh shut up and go guard the f*****g door" I snap 

He sighs and nods and walks out. Makayla inches her way over to me and takes a seat. 

"Hey i'm ok" I tell her

"I'm so sorry" She says sobbing 

"Hey it's ok. It was not your fault. He lied to me so much. But I worked through it. I had amazing friends and a father who loved me and got me some help and the  best doctors. And now look, I get the chance to start over" I tell her rubbing my swollen belly

She smiles and places her hand on my tummy and the baby kicks. Makayla smiles pushes back and she kicks again.

"Ok there missy I don't need a soccer play today." I say smiling

"Sorry. I miss being pregnant. God was I miserable but I loved every minute of it" She tells me

I smile and grab her hand giving it a squeeze. 

"We want Aunt Sophia now" I here Raegan scream

I giggle and nod at her to let them in. She walks over and pushes Lance out of the way and the littles both come running in. Makayla walks over and lifts one on either side of me and they both snuggle into my sides. She smiles at them and takes out her phone taking a picture of us. I lean my head back closing my eyes and sleep takes over. When I wake up again the littles were gone and I shoot up looking around to see everyone but the littles. 

"Where are they?" I say looking around

"Hey sweet pea it's ok. Damion took them home to sleep" Allen says

I sigh and nod and rub my temples. I groan when my back aches and everyone jumps up.

"Can you rub my back? I have this ache" I ask Allen

He nods and I scoot forward and he sits behind me and starts massaging. I moan and he chuckles at me.  

"Hey baby. How you feeling?" Greg asks

"I'm OK." I tell him smiling

He grins at me and kisses my forehead. 

"So Makayla is getting everything set up to do your pictures tomorrow. She has went overboard with it all." Allen tells me

"She didn't have to do that. I was going to buy everything" I say

"She wanted to do it. I think being around you has gave her baby fever" Allen says chuckling

I giggle and he continues to rub my back. 

"Alright momma. You are free to go home" The doctor says walking in

I nod and everyone stands up. Allen goes over to a bag and brings me back some clothes. I stand and my legs give and Allen catches me. 

"Everyone out" Lance says

Everyone leaves and Lance comes over and removes my hospital gown and slowly helps me get dressed. The whole time he keeps his eyes on mine and then when he's done he scoops me into his arms. He carries me to the car and we drive back to the house. When we arrive and enter the house. Food feels my senses. It smelt so good in there. Lance places me on the couch and covers me up and walks out. Soon everyone walks in placing food all around and Makayla fixes me a plate. She hands it to me and I smile and thank her. 

"How you feeling?" Damion asks

"I'm fine. Starving and a little sleepy." I say 

"Well don't go to sleep yet. Eat and then we have a surprise for you" Allen says

I smile and start eating and everyone grabs a plate and eats as well. I steadily eat my food and when I finish Greg walks in with a milkshake. I make grabby hands for it and he chuckles and hands it to me.

"Alright momma, after you finish that I want you to go to your room and put on the outfit that's on your bed. You boys have outfits as well. Now the twins want pictures with you is that ok?" Kay asks

" Of course. Why are the guys getting outfits to?" I ask

"Bc they are getting pictures with you as well" she tells me 

I look at her with wide eyes and head into my room to get ready. After thirty minutes I was ready to get these pictures done. I walked to see everyone waiting on me and when I got close to the couch I felt a big kick. I gasped and grabbed my tummy.

"Wosh you ok?" Allen asks

I smile and grab his hand and place it on my tummy. She kicks again and Allen smiles. I look up to see Lance eyeing my tummy. His hand twitches and I sigh. I walk over to him and hold my hand out. I lift my shirt up and place his hand on my tummy. She kicks again and Lance jumps and I giggle. He pushes on my tummy and our baby girl kicks back. He places his other hand on my tummy and leans forward kissing my stomach. He leans his forehead on my tummy between his hands and sighs. I high several clicks and then people walking away. I raise my hand place it on his head running my fingers through his hair. His arms wrap around me tightly and I continue to run my fingers through his hair.

"Soph" Lance says 

"Hmm" I hum back

"I really am sorry" He mumbles

"I know" I tell him

"Come on you two." Makayla says

I sigh and Lance pulls back and pulls my shirt back into place and he stands. I walk towards the kitchen and the twins run by bumping into me and I slide. My hands fly out but I don't fall, Lance was holding me up.

"Guys" Makayla shouts

The twins come running in looking scared of the devil. I bend down on my knees to get to their level.

"Hey babies. Listen to me, I'm going to have a baby. So when your playing please watch where your going. You could have knocked me over and hurt the baby" I tell them

"We are sorry Aunt Soph" Teagan whispers

"Oh tea it's ok sweetheart. I know you were just playing but be careful ok. Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt would we?" I ask

"no ma'am" Raegan says

"Alright. Now let's get going" I tell them

"Yay" They shout

"Hey not without kisses first" I tell them and point to my cheek

They giggle and kiss my cheek and run to their daddy. I smile and struggle to get up and Lance puts his hands under my arms and helps me get back to my feet. We all head out and when we arrive at the place I was in awe. It was so beautiful here. 

Time skip

The pictures were done and I was exhausted. By time we arrived back to the house I could barely walk. I walked to my room and feel onto the bed groaning. 

"How about a hot bath?" Allen says walking in

I nod my head while yawning and he walks into my bathroom and starts the water. Lance walks in and Allen walks out of the bathroom and out of the bedroom closing the door. Lance walks over and helps me up and to the bathroom. I start pulling my clothes off and sigh when I sink down into the water. Lance knelt down behind me and started washing my hair for me. I sigh and leaned back into his hands. Once I was finally done with my bath Lance helped me out and helped me get dressed. I went over to the bed and laid down and sighed. 

"Tired?" Lance asks

"I'm always tired now" I say rubbing my belly

"Knock knock" Makayla says walking in

"Hey" I say smiling at her

"Want to see the pictures?" She asks

"Of course" I say

She smiles and walks over handing me her Ipad and I start flipping through all the pictures she had taken. I was so impressed with them. 

"They are amazing" I tell her

"I'm glad you like them. Now get some sleep cause tomorrow we are going out with the kids for snowman building and then to get the tree" She tells me

"Makayla I won't be here for Christmas. I'm going to see my dad" I tell her

"Oh" She says slightly disappointed

"Hey what if you all came home with me for Christmas? There won't be any snow but there is plenty of room and horses." I tell her

"I'll talk to Damian about it" She says

I sigh and slide out of bed and walk down to Damian's office. I knock and walk in and he is sitting there behind his desk typing away on his laptop.

"Hey" I say walking over to him

"What's up?" He asks

"Well I won't be here for Christmas and I offered for you and Makayla and the kids to come home with me for Christmas. There is plenty of room and the kids can ride the ponies." I tell him

"Honestly Soph we can't afford it right now" He says

"I was offering and i'm paying" I tell him

"Soph we can't let you do that" He says

"Come on please. Allen hardly ever gets time off to see you guys and i would love to show the kids my home. Please?" I say 

"Fine. When do we leave?" He asks

"Tomorrow morning so get off that thing and go pack" I tell him smiling

I walk over and open the door and walk into the kitchen and wink at Makayla.

"How did you get to agree?" She asks

"I offered to have s*x with him" I say shrugging

Her jaw dropped and everyone else busted out laughing.

"w-what?" she stutters out

"I'm kidding. I'm paying for the whole trip." I tell her

"Don't do that" She says 

"Sorry I thought it was funny. Your face was priceless" I tell him smiling

She fails to hide her smile and shakes her head at me. 

Time Skip Arriving Home

When we arrived at the airport Tom picked us up as usual. 

"Hi kitten. How's my girls doing?" He asks

"We are good, tired but good" I tell him with a smile

"Well let's get you off those feet and to the house" He says

I nod and he opens the door for us and we all pile in. We pull up to my dad's house and I sigh and step out and walk in without knocking. 

"Father" I shout

He walks out and smiles at me. I offer him a small smile back. 

"We have company" I say

"Lacy" My father shouts

"Sir?" Ask a young woman walking in

"Get all the guests room ready and take everyone's bags to their rooms" He tells her

"Yes sir" She says

"Lacy" I call 

"Ma'am?" She says sending me a glare

"Stay out of my room. If I find you in there once I will remove your head from your shoulders" I tell her smiling sweetly

She gulps but nods and walks away.

"Greg show everyone around please" I tell him

He nods and kisses my temple and starts showing everyone around. 

"So how are you?" Dad asks

"I'm good, tired but i'm good." I say

"Honey i'm going out to look for a tree" My so call mother says

"No that isn't going to happen. I'll go with the boys tomorrow to get the tree I want"  I say not looking at her

"It's fine i'll go" She says

"And I said I'll go. It's my job to pick the tree. I've been doing it since the day you died." I snap at her

Lance walks over and wraps his arms around me and I lean into him and breathe deep. 

"Breathe for me" He whispers in my ear

I nod against his chest and he hugs me tighter. There is a knock on the door and Lacy answers the door. She is shoved out of the way and the guys bound in the door coming towards me. 

"Sophia" They all shout

I giggle and walk over opening my arms. They a run over hugging me and I laugh. 

"How are our girls doing?" They all ask

"We are great. Now someone go to taco bell for me please" I say pouting

"I'll go" Henry says and winks at me

I smile at him and watch as he leaves. 

"What a slut" I hear Lacy say

"Your fired get out" I say to her

She smirks and looks out me and shakes her head.

"You can't fire me" She says

"Daddy I want her out" I say not looking at him

"Get out" My father says

Lacy's jaw drops and I smirk this time. She turns to walk to the door and steps over pulling a gun from the guys side. I roll my eyes as she points it at me and I sigh. Lance puts my gun in my hand and I raise it at her.

"You get one shot and I get one shot." I tell her

She empties all but one bullet and I smirk. She points her gun back at me and Lance looks worried. She shoots and I spin and shoot her in the leg and she falls to the floor. I walk over and get on my knees punching her in the face knocking her out. 

"Take her to the w***e house" I say to the guys

They smirk and I wink and they carry her out.
