One week passed with Lotus in her room, following up on the scandal, the hate comments were immense and the opinions from strangers who never knew her were all over; amidst the comments were a few people who encouraged her to be a cheater as there's no use of being faithful and there is nothing to a man, some people said she's disgraceful and needs to be burnt to death and male predators said they'd give anything to sleep with her and give her a child; if it were them they'd forgive her without thinking twice and lastly, people denied the news and couldn't believe she could do such, there were also those who didn't know her, they said she didn't look like someone who could do such, with how elfin she is, they didn't even believe she had given birth before; she had become the talk of the town and a topic people used to play with time.

The sales of her company were erratic, rising and falling at the same time, and in 1 month, she wondered why her family hadn't cleaned up the mess yet.

“Dad, mum what's going on?” she comes out suddenly and asks

“We didn't want to tell you, but a few weeks ago, Alexander went out to address the public about it, but he fainted on stage, our team has been searching for him so far, but we couldn't find him.”

“What do you mean a grown-ass man is missing?” she says and goes back to her room, going back to the Internet.

It read for 2 weeks and she wondered which hole she was in for 2 weeks, she watched clips of the speech Alexander gave, and a part he said replayed in her mind over and over again

“I still loved her, but I can't disrespect myself for it”

‘But I disrespected myself Alexander, but I did!’ she thinks and scrolls one more video she wished she hadn't

‘Smash or Pass Lotus Richard?’ When she saw the video, she smashed her iPad on the wall with a thud and screamed startling her baby who started crying; both of them cried and it sounded like chaos

Her mother rushes into the room, carrying the child and Flora walks in comforting her sister.

“He said he couldn't disrespect himself keeping me, but I disrespected my f*cking self, over and over and over again, What did I do to deserve this?” she wept

“You're not to blame love, everything is going to be fine, shh…”.

In the next few months, news of her cheating is covered up by new scandals and she's forgotten, she is removed as the CEO of the Richard's because her mind isn't in the right state, and her parents didn't do anything about the case because Alexander went missing and hadn't been found, and the way the scandal went out of the publics eyes, it was a better option.

Lotus is still reeling in depression so much her parents are concerned, she smiles but at walls for long periods and everyone knows better, so they suggest she leave for another country and start her life anew, she gingerly agrees; she also hates her steaks of depression, she hates the feeling of suffocation, she hates Alexander, she hates that she could forgive everyone but couldn't forgive who she loved so hard, so she needed fresh air and probably a new country would do that; s

o her parents plan for it.
