Only one choice

I've never put much thought into what it would be like to live with my mother or what it would be like to be at my father's funeral. But, here I am 2 weeks after my father's funeral in a new state, and a new city, and a new school, living with my mother. I was just thinking when my mother comes into my room and then asks if she can come in for those of you who don't know that is one of my biggest pet peeves. I look up at her  and roll my eyes Steph: yes Mother what do you want? Jen: I was just going to tell you that you should get up you're going to be late. Steph: I'm well aware of what time it is and I know what time I have to wake up and even what time I have to leave the house to be on time for my first class for that matter. Jen: oh well I guess I'll just see you at dinner then. I roll my eyes at her again and get up to shower.
