Earth's first doomsday

As the ground shook under her feet, Angelique found the same dreadful feeling lingering all over. Stumbling forward, she moved away from under the lights above and pinned her back to the ceiling. The security alarm was completely chocking away any other sounds, putting a stop to her frantic thoughts too. It all lasted a few seconds, a few seconds that seemed like a whole damn hour. Absolutely terrifying. The flickering of the lights stopped immediately after the seismic wave and so did the alarm. Only now did she realize she had held her breath completely all this time. The door of Grimes study opened and Angelique rushed in, wide-eyed and still fighting for air. "What happened?" she blurted out, stumbling inside in a panic, not even seeing everyone else in the room, looking more or less the same. From his holographic screen, Grimes didn't even look her way. She was the fifth person to come ask this and there was no different answer. "Earth's had enough of y'all business." El'is muttered in a breathless tune, staring at the screen. "The Eurasian tectonic plate just split in half and what we felt was not even a speck of dust-" Raine spoke in a somber voice, while Kai seemed to only now realize it, his hands going into his hair, pushing it back in agitation. "We need to go and help!" Ioelena whined with half a heart already cried out. Grimes pulled his eyes away from the screen for a moment, to look at her, pondering on her words. "And how to we help? The aftershock will settle in soon, and how to we help two entire continents now? I mean-" El'is huffed and puffed, tossing her hands in the air in an overly exaggerated motion. "I mean-"Ioelena pulled a seat and sank down, visibly affected. "We knew something would happen. The whole Earth seems to be breaking down and the tectonic plates did move excessively in the last period of time, but this-." she shook her head in disbelief. "Aellioah-" Angelique breathed out, her words finally catching up with her thoughts. "He's fine. The cell room is one of the safest rooms in the facility-" Grimes finally spoke, in a rough scolding voice. "Nono!" Angelique rushed to stop him. "He said something about the Celestial Fragments!" she breathed in again. "He said that the Fragments are deteriorating the Earth. I think they feed with the vital energy of the planet?" "Bullshit!" El'is huffed out, rolling all of her eyes. " Why would they even need more energy? The fragments are known to nourish planets, feed them life and-" she was flaying her arms around like they would send a better message than words. "Angelique-" grimes stepped in, his eyes peeling from the countless videos of the situation in Europe and the Asian continent. "Are you sure that's what he said?" "Of course! I asked him why is he not just leaving, if he's so mighty and powerful and his reply was that he's here for the fun of seeing Earth come to its end. End that now with the Fragments hosted here, will come rather sooner than later. Didn't you say you'll be watching and listening to everything?" "He messed with the cameras and audio system again-" "So I was literally all alone..." she muttered to herself, eyes narrowing slowly, fixed on Grimes, who seemed not to catch that as he turned to the screen and started searching for something in all that mess of opened tabs. "Did he say anything else?" He asked, but Angelique did not answer. Instead, she turned on her heels and started walking out of the room. "Angelique!" Ioelena called out, hurrying after her. "What happened? Are you alright? Did he do anything to you?" "Oh!NOW you're worried?!" Angelique mocked her, picking up the pace of her footsteps, her face stern and cheeks red in anger. "What are you talking about? Of course I was worried! you were-" "Right in the lion's cage!" Angelique stopped abruptly, her voice choking with frustration, tears swimming in her eyes. "And now I'm told that if anything went wrong, there was no way of actually interfering with it! No one was watching, no one was listening-" she raised her arms and huffed. "Do you actually need me or am I just live bait?!" words came as a hiss, between her teeth, filled with anger. The anger and frustration startled Ioelena, who remained pined in her spot, even when Angelique turned around and rushed away again. To add to her frustration and anger, The door of her room didn't seem to respond to the access pass she was given. In a fit of emotion-driven anger, without much thought, Angelique slammed her foot into the passlock panel and forced the door open, door that closed with a terrible metal shriek behind her, that was immediately accompanied by a high pitched scream. As she walked around the room, kicking the boxes, anger was slowly replaced with a deep, endless pain of betrayal. Did they actually betray her? Not in an obvious way at least, but to her, this was worse than just being kicked out of the facility. she was just bait here. Or a strange individual who needs to be kept in check, and if she goes berserk, tossed in a cell and locked away for ever, tagged as a danger to humankind. Eventually, she settled on the edge of the bed, falling backwards and draping an arm over her eyes, covering the tears that started to stream down her face. Multiple times, she has been told how incredibly strong she was, what a heritage lays behind her, lives in her blood, but way too many times has she been reminded that if she would not learn to control it or use it properly, the world would not need her. So, was this the purpose she served now? Bait? hah! How pathetic- At the other end of the bed, the mattress shifted with a strange weight, pulling Angelique away from her somber thoughts. The arm that covered her eyes was suddenly pulled away, and when her eyes opened, right above her, upside-down, the most fascinating pair of eyes stared right into hers. They held the light of distant galaxies and faraway lands, with eons of stories to tell, stories that need no telling. It was enough to just stare into them and you'd find them all there. "Hello, again, little dragon." Aellioah broke the sudden silence and fascination Angelique found herself falling into. The low, gravel-like voice pulled Angelique out of her trance, sending shivers all over her body. The sudden urge to fight or flee activated and forced her to suddenly get up. The man leaned back in a fluid motion, so she would not headbutt him and hurt herself. "What are you doing here?" she blurted out, stumbling to get away from the bed, searching for something in reach to defend herself. Unphased by her, Aellioah leaned back into the absolutely huge pillows, letting out a soft sigh of comfort. "Quite a room you got your hands on-" the man muttered as he traced some lines of the blanket, averting his eyes from her. "How did you even get here?!" Angelique blurted out, heart racing. What was he doing here? How did he get in here? What did he want ? What was he planning? He was in her bed and only God knows how terrifyingly exciting that was. A strange tug in her stomach, and a more powerful one in her lower abdomen settled as soon as all these realizations came in. Never had she experienced such fearful attraction towards something. The more she looked at him, the more she understood he was far from being human and, oh! how delicious that seemed. All those rough lines of his face, all the angles and the perfectly smooth skin that seemed not to be anything similar to hers. It held a deep violet hue under it and with the way the light fell on him right now, he seemed etheric. Was this another mind trick of his? "Get out!" Angelique motioned sharply to the door that was still malfunctioning, blinking red every few seconds. "hm?" Aellioah murmured, his half-closed eyes drawing slowly from the covers of the bed, to her, shaded by long white lashes."But I thought you were enjoying what you're seeing-" his innocent smile turned into a rather cheeky grin. "Get out of my head too!" Angelique rushed to hiss at him, pointing at her own head, then at the door. A deep dark laugh echoed in his chest as he got up from the bed, and slowly moved closer to her. With each step he took forward, Angelique moved backwards until her back hit the wall and her breath hitched in her chest. Eventually, the distance between them was closed, and Aellioah didn't leave much space between them at all. At a few inches away, barely reaching the height of his shoulders, Aellioah curled his thumb and index finger on her chin, forcing her to look up at him as he spoke again in the same promising voice, filled with something, oh! so tempting... "You're acting as if you haven't been literally dreaming of it-" as he spoke, his face moved closer to hers, nose almost touching hers, before he moved closer to her ear, lowering his voice. " Of having me in your bed, between your legs, thrusting deep all while you beg for more-" his breath fell against her cheek, nose brushing gently against her ear. "But don't be ashamed of it." his other hand slowly started to trace the line of her arm, from her forearm to her shoulder and slowly moving over her chest, between her breasts, settling there. "I've been dreaming of you too, for centuries even." his words fell against her ear, his lips tracing her lobe before panting a peck right under it, on her jaw. "Of your soft warm skin, your loud moans, and your musky taste-" he paused, smiling along with his words. "To even think I'd find you on this dump!" he huffed and slowly pulled his face away from hers. But as soon as he did pull away, he found her shoving the milky white sphere of her scepter in his face, forcing him to back away. Her chest was raising and falling rapidly, her eyes were narrowed and even if her cheeks and tips of her ears were flushed, she was clearly fuming. Both embarrassed and turned on to the point where she could feel her underwear soaked. But there was no way she'd let this slimy alien get to her like this- "I told you to get out!" she demanded in a low growl-like voice. Aellioah couldn't help but laugh again, even if the scepter was shoved so far into his face, that all he could see was the amazing shimmer of the Moonstone sphere. "What's so funny to you?!" Angelique spit out, still trying to calm herself and her raging hormones.
