The First Day(6)

After the greeting ceremony they were asked to return to their hostel. It was half past 11 by the time their assembly ended and by the time they reached their room it was noon. Amaryllis and her roommates were discussing all the things they just heard in the auditorium. All of them reached their room, Amaryllis had the key. They all got in and they were too tired. Amaryllis went to her table and picked up a bottle given to Cheryl and then she took another bottle and gulped down the water.
Penelope and Maria were busy throwing their clothes and getting changed. Cheryl closed the door and opened her cupboard. Amaryllis asked Penelope and Maria to wait and she proceeded towards Penelope's cupboard and opened it. When she did that it formed as a barrier and there was a small space for them to change the clothes. All of them looked at her and gave a meaningful smile. Maria rushed first followed by Penelope.
Amaryllis was the last to do so. After changing clothes Amaryllis and Cheryl went towards the washing area. In the meantime Penelope and Maria were busy o talking on the phone. When Amaryllis and Cheryl returned they saw the group of girls, they smiled and greeted them. Amaryllis grabbed her and Cheryl’s plate and proceeded towards the mess. They were totally exhausted. Penelope and Maria were still busy on the phone and they asked the other girls to wait.
(Oh!!!! I haven’t introduced the girls who often come to Amaryllis’ room. I forgot about it pardon me pleaseeeeeee..... the girls who came to Amaryllis’ room are Ann, Tingu, Rose, Thea, Becca, Ruth, Bleesy(yes she is the one who came searching for Penelope), Anna)
They all were waiting to go to the mess and they were discussing what happened today in the morning. Cheryl suggested we can discuss everything after having something to eat. All of them proceeded to the mess, Maria was still on the phone. Amaryllis and Cheryl went to wash their plates before proceeding towards the mess.
Amaryllis took the food and then proceeded towards a table and the rest followed. They all were busy eating food and discussing the food. They saw a notice stating that the mess will be divided into different messes and it's effective from dinner onwards. All the students were requested to go to their chosen mess from dinner onwards.
