THE UNFATHOMABLE LOVE

The Second Day(1)

A new day and fresh morning. Amaryllis got up and opened her windows. What a spectacular view she saw outside. The more she saw the more charged she was. The clouds were surrounding the hills and the sun was about to rise. She then picked her toiletries and proceeded to the bathing area. She took around forty five minutes to freshen up. Her hair was wet and water was dripping from her hair.

 After returning to her room she saw the morning sun was up. She felt more relaxed and proceeded to call Cheryl. As Cheryl woke up Penelope’s phone started ringing. It rang for nearly seven to eight times. Amaryllis went near Penelope’s bed, woke her up and asked her to attend the call. Amaryllis was drying her hair and looking at the scenery outside.  Cheryl saw Amaryllis lost in her thoughts while looking outside, there was a smile on her face. Cheryl inquired what she was looking out for.

Due to the sudden question Amaryllis realized she was absent minded and responded to Cheryl saying the scenery outside is very beautiful. Cheryl looked outside and said indeed it was beautiful. Meanwhile Penelope finished her call and joined them. Even though she was saying it was so beautiful, Amaryllis reminded them to go wash and get ready. Cheryl and Penelope rushed to wash up and Maria was still lazing out in bed. Amaryllis told Maria that it was already late and asked her to rush otherwise she will be late. Maria reluctantly got up and proceeded to the washing area. As Maria left, Amaryllis closed her door and went to Liya’s room to fix her shawl. Liya fixed Amaryllis’ shawl, while Liya was busy with her shawl Amaryllis told Liya about the beautiful scenery and how she felt.

Amaryllis liked Liya because she had the same wavelength as her. She was not at all like what Maria described her. After fixing her shawl, she said thank you to Liya  and proceeded to her room telling her she will catch up later. Amaryllis’ hair was still wet. She didn’t have a hair dryer. Nobody in her room had. So Amaryllis had to air dry her hair. Just as she was about to open the door she saw her Ann and Tingu coming to their room. She opened the room and told them all her roommates went to the washing area for freshening up. Ann asked Amaryllis to call them when they are going to have breakfast. Amaryllis assured them and asked their room number.

Amaryllis was combing her hair, there were few hair on her comb and she went out of the room to throw them in the dustbin. At that time she saw Cheryl and Penelope were walking towards the room while talking to Thea, Binila, Rose and Ruth. Amaryllis' immediate neighbour was Ruth. While departing all of them told Penelope to wait for them. They said all of us can go have breakfast together. By the time they entered their room Maris was walking towards the room. Amaryllis passed Ann’s message to Penelope.
