Rain didn’t expect to fall in love…

He never expected that his heart would beat despite his dark mind.

But there’s a catch…

He doesn’t like him back…

He fell for his bestfriend, for which he had a very low chance of winning his attentions, because he’s straight…

All he wished for was to return those feelings, before his roses catch up to him…

Before
“Come to the garden…”    That was the latest text the boy received from his friend in over a month, it was almost 4 in the morning and was about to sleep until and his phone vibrated and checked his messages, his message.    Finally... the boy thought. He and his friend had days like this, one of them would disappear for days or a week about either a heartbreak, or just to let out all the s**t that they received, they would hide from everyone and go to their special place only the two of them know, the last one was three months ago, his friend comforted him over a girl who dumped him for some college jock, they let it all out of course, over a bottle of vodka and a shitty sad-song playlist.    This time had been worse, he literally disappeared for a month, no text or a call, not even a warning from his parent's, he tried asking for him, but even they don't know what was happening with him. Be patient, he thought, then a day passed; a week; then a month; yet still he waited, and kept waiting until today...    But after all of that, he is still his friend. Just a friend, if only they were something more...    The boy got up from his bed and rushed to put on his sneakers, he didn't even bother changing out of his uniform from yesterday, he took his leather jacket and keys and took his motorcycle to his friend’s house.    He reached the main gate of his friend’s house, he made sure that he wasn’t heard by his friend’s parent’s, he sneaked around the house as quiet as he can. But as the boy was halfway around, someone tapped his shoulder, he reacted quickly and grabbed the arm of the…maid?    “Ouch! that hurts!” the maid reacted, the boy calmed down and thanked God it was the maid.    “Cass, what the hell?!” the boy whispered back    “Don’t sneak up on me like that, otherwise I would’ve broken your arm!” The maid massaged where the boy had held her, the boy wondered why she was still up, she usually stays inside and is afraid getting mugged at night apparently.     The maid was just the same age as the boy and his friend, they all basically grew up together, the girl was the daughter of a maid in his friend’s house, and was his personal maid, his friend and the maid often bicker about how his friend eats, or how he doesn’t learn to clean for himself. But beneath that fighting, the boy knew they were siblings by heart.     “So, what are you doing up?” asked the boy     “What are YOU doing up HERE?” she replied     “I got a text from Rain, and I need to go see him...” The boy was trying to hold his temper, but his patience was thinning, the maid paused for a moment "So unless you know something to try and stop me, I'll listen..." the boy waited for a response from her, but even if she did, he wouldn't listen to her. A minute had passed, he was already walking down the path, he had no time to listen to this girl's sermons.     “Wait, Skye…”she grabbed his arm, looking conflicted “I don't know what's been happening with him, and I have been worried sick just as you are, and I know he trusts you more than anyone else...    "So please be gentle with him, don't push him too much...”     The boy's hand formed a fist, his back facing her, thinking of what to say, should he tell her to f**k off because he’s been worried about his friend for a whole damn month, he blew off his classes for him, just to see how he was doing, he tried to be patient, he kept waiting for him, even though it meant throwing his life away, he looked like he didn’t care but he did, but why couldn't he show it? He's ready... He trusts you to trust yourself... He calmed down, turned around, gave a small smile and nodded     “I won’t, I promise…” he continued walking on to their garden...
