CHAPTER IV – Meeting

I don’t know how to react on that, he is coming, and I don’t have a say on it. He decided, just like that. I ran to Suzy’s room, and knock hard.   “Why?” She answered. “Just come in and stop knocking like a crazy burglar.” I can hear the annoyance in her voice, she is noisy, but she hates noise.   “He said he’s coming,” I said like it’s something scary.   “Okay? So what’s the deal?” She gestured a quote sign with her fingers over the air. I sighed. “Yeah you’re right, I’m not sure what’s happening to me, as if it’s a big of a deal. I’m just going to see an old friend. But just thinking about it makes me worried.”   “Go get yourself a warm bath, I’m going to prepare a hot tea for you to serve later.” She pushes me out of her room and gave me a reassuring smile.   As I open the knob of my bedroom she walks to me and says. “If you’re worried that he might look down at you, just because you didn’t make it through your dreams. Just remember how he used to be because I know he won’t be your friend if he’s that kind of person.” She taps me on my shoulder as I go inside.   I stared in the mirror looking at my nakedness, I am still as flat as ever, going to the gym didn’t help me a bit. I used to wear a push-up bra before, but as I came to accept my feature, I went back on using a traditional bra. I even have baby bras I use when wearing a string dress.   I put on a regular t-shirt, partner with a short. I might be flat, but I have a beautiful hip, and pair of the round thigh that stands together, forming a beautiful V shape in the middle.   To accent my neck, I put on the star drop necklace I brought earlier this afternoon together with the dress. It was not of Red Velvet, and I’ll bet it’ll be tarnished in no time. But it does look beautifully elegant.   Taylor’s POV   I made a quick drop by at a flower shop, and get a single lily flower wrap in black craft paper and a light pink ribbon. What’s a visit without something handy?   My head is spinning, I had a hard time forgetting her smell. I can’t stop myself from imagining how she’d look like today. I knew she was my mate since I turned 18. And leaving Australia was damn hard without her, a part of me wants to claim her before I leave. But if I do, surely she won’t enjoy a natural life, and I don’t want to take that away from her.   I worked hard so I can have her with me, so I can defend her with my family. I am the offspring of two royal vampires, the oldest living group of vampires. We as vampires are never meant to marry a human mate. But, I had no interest in anyone else.   I’m outside of the building where she lives, but at this distance, I can already smell her. Her blood smells the sweetest, I can’t help but imagine myself sunk in her neck. I almost droll just be thinking.   I give a soft knock on their door. Excitement envelops me as the smells grew nearer. She opens the door for me, and I was frozen on my stand. She gave me a warm smile, and I swear if there is heaven, I might be floating with the angels right now. I handed her the flower. “Thank you, please come in.” I can hear her heart beating, it was as if she’s on a marathon, which gave me a smirk on my lips. She’s blown away. And her heartbeat gave her away.   “I’m not sure what to say. Should I introduce myself?” I ask.   “Silly you. Let’s go to the kitchen, Suzy here prepares dinner for us.” My eyes are fixated on her legs, her short wraps perfectly on those round thighs, and I can’t help but build a b***r.   “Instead of asking how are you, as I can see you’re perfectly well,” she smiles at me and gestures her hands up and down as if saying ‘Look at you now.’ “let me drop the bomb. How did you find me?” She asks me, I can sense the intrigued in her voice. And it sounds a little harsh as if I’m a maniac after her.   “Well, I was asked by my manager to go on some interview paper. And I do happen to see your name on one of those sheets.” I lied, I decided not to tell her yet, as it will do her no good anyway.   “O.” she formed the letter with her lips, I swear she’s making it hard for me to control myself from taking her. “So you’re in the same industry huh?” She asked curiously.   “Yes, after getting my degree I applied for this and that, just recently I am an assistant now in Red Velvet.” I can’t think of another company that she might have sent an application with, so even if I know it can blow my cover right away, I still give the name.   “Oh my God Tee, that was awesome. You’re really extraordinary.” That’s it, the name I want her to call me, the one I want her to whisper on my ears, the name I want her to call me as I thrust deep into her.   I gulp the tea, to relax. But, “Ouch,” I squeak, as the heated liquid burns my tongue. I slip the glass and drop it on the floor, as it smashed she run towards me, and my reflexes grab her and move her to the other side. She looks at me eyes wide open.   “You can get yourself hurt.” I’m now panting, from the burning feeling, and that feeling of anticipation, if she gets cut, if her blood drips, if I see it now. What could have happened?   It was crazy, the feeling was so intense that I almost lost myself if not for Suzy checking on us. I was so nervous that I made up a reason to go home.
