Persistent Fate

A tall peptide girl with sharp round eyes , a cheerful bright face was happily chopping some vegetables, chirping along the birds. She was humming a song as she brilliantly handled the knife. Her humming was halted by the shouting of her mother " Huifan , come here at once . You little brat how many times have I told you not to mess with Meilin." " But Ma it was seriously not my fault this time Meilin kept accusing me for stealing Jaiyao brother's attention ". Huifan stated with a look saying that I'm innocent this time. Mrs. Zhang smiled softly knowing well that it's her daughter's beauty which has caused restless in Meilin's mind. " You go back to cooking, I still have some work left in shop. You can eat first , I'll be late ." Mrs. Zhang picked up her shop keys and left . Huifan's father had died from an illness when she was only ten years old, since then her mother took over her jewelry shop left by her father. The shop initially suffered a huge loss due to Mrs. Zhang's negligence for which they had to sell their house. At that time Meilin's father stepped in to help his brother's wife and child. He gave then a house on rent and helped them out with the shop but as the time went on he increased the rent many folds and now has eyes in their shop . Even though their house was small it was still cozy , there was only one bed room with a bathroom and a kitchen connected by a small dining room. There wasn't much furniture which made the house look spacious. Huifan continued her cooking and once she was done packed the lunch for her mother before setting out to deliver the food.
