The scrapes I had collected were worth at least twenty thousand, this was enough for the remaining two weeks of this month. Since the day that the cozen attacked our state this is the life of the majority of us who survived. Even thougham just a twelve year old child, preparing for my survival is better than following the general’splan. With the money and food I have collected, I can travel to Brenz the gathering place for the survivors who rebelled from the Cozen influence. Though they are always under attack, it’sbetter than being sold to the enemy. The war took my family from me.I see the horrifying scenes of my parents and brother’sdeath every time I closemy eyes. Sometimes it feelslike they are still here and all this terror is the dream I will wake up from to see my parent’shappy faces and listen to my brother’s comfortingvoice but that reality ended for many of the Shens after that day. After acquiring the many for the first bunch of scraps I collected in the morning, I was still short on money plus the travelling deadline was near. The desire to travel to Brenz is in thehearts of many of the survivors but the reasonmost of them are still here sufferingis because the journey there is dangerous, the stories of those who tried to escape and travel their all leave the survivors in fear of the unknown but so say that those rumorsare spread by the leaders to scare the survivors. So when travelling to Brenz, one has to book a travelling party. These people are travelersbetween the two areas, they smuggle those that pay the out, show you the direction to your destination thengo separate ways from you. It’s theft in broad day light but people like me still seek them out to pay that large sum of money to get out of this hell hole. Your survival is up to you afterwards and they are kind enough to leave you with some food. They are to leave after this mouth ends, and after that announcement I am to leave with them no matter what.
