At first glance, it looked like an extension of the library. More closed. A lot quieter. And so much emptier. Still, an extension. The design was different too, of course. There were no standing racks of books in the room. All the books were on the shelves sitting against the walls. So it looked like he was truly in the middle of the books. The only other piece of furniture inside the room was the table standing in the middle of the room. The lights were all up above. A glass ceiling that lit up evenly and spat out the bright white light all across the room, so there was no space for any shadows.
