Rain wasn’t with the girls. She did come along with Emi in the morning. Greeted everyone with a wide smile and a soft hello. Followed the team to the auditorium. Found her seat on the stands. Sat down watching them practice, all morning. Then, she needed a break. She had been sitting still too long. As if that in itself wasn’t enough, she had been watching the girls running and jumping and screaming and sweating. Made her feel all the more restless. She needed to move. And the best she could do was take a walk.
