I fiddled with my fingers as Dexter waltzed off into the bathroom with the phone next to his ear and a smug smirk on his lips. His face basically said “I told you so', still I doubt it. I bet he didn’t even look at the caller ID. Is it really the King? I feel like a fool taking part in Dexter’s games but I can’t help but be anxious, whatever the king says will influence my life after all. I hope he’s as desperate as Dexter deemed him or else I feel like my already passionate hatred for him will only multiply. Then again, is Dexter even serious about letting me see my mother?
