My senses led me straight over to the window but just as my fingers went to touch the window-sill, my eyes were quick to pick up on the oncoming knife hurling straight at me through the air. I managed to shift my body just in time, then my hand moved on instinct, grasping the knife before it could fly pass me. My battle mode switched on, and without thinking twice, I twisted on my feet and launched it back in the direction from which it came. A grunt sounded as it pierced through someone’s flesh.
