My Little Secrets

Rose POV

It was Morning & Dr. Andrew wanted to keep an eye on me. He did another ultrasound to see how the baby & I were doing. The baby was growing great. The only thing is something caught my eye. I showed Dr. Andrew & he moved the ultrasound wond along my belly. when he did, we both daw another heartbeat & baby.

I was in shock having one baby was surprise enough, but 2 now? I will be showing sooner than I want. I don't want Dalton to know I am pregnant with his pups. Dr. Andrew did tell me, though, that he sent a letter out to the Lycan King. He told him everything about Dalton & how he was running the pack & his parents never stopped him. I liked Dr. Andrew, he was kind & cared about his patience safety.

Later that day, he released me & let me know to be prepared the lycan king was coming. I went straight to my bedroom & called my adopted father. I told him what happened & he was not happy. He was ready to break the treaty until I told him Dr. Andrew contacted the Lycan King. I asked if I could come home for a couple of days just to visit. He, of course, was fine with that.

I went and told my in-laws I was going home for the weekend just to visit family. They weren't happy about it but understood. I went & told Dalton I was leaving for the weekend too. Only I never got to leave. When I came to, I was back in the hospital, having an ultrasound done by Dr. Andrew. He had tears rolling down his cheeks.

He ended up yelling at me. My stomach was black & purple from the beating I never saw coming. I lost a baby & the other one was barely hanging on. I prayed to the moon goddess for this nightmare to be over. I was put on bed rest & Dr. Andrew kept me for a few days to keep an eye on me again. I called my adopted parents, but they already knew what happened because Dalton's parents called & told them.

My in-laws hated me because my adopted parents told me I was useless & a weakling & that I had been in the hospital for weeks, & I was in the hospital again. They didn't believe his parents, so they came to see me. I showed them all my x- rays, cat scans, pregnancy test, & ultrasound results. They were so mad, & couldn't believe I was still going through all of this instead of leaving. I told them this is not what a good Luna does. I need to be here for this pack because of him.

Their was a reason the moon goddess had it this way. Everything was set into motion when I was born. I needed to protect the pack people from him & his parents & the moon goddess had it set this way for a reason. I kept praying that she had a plan, but I wasn't sure how much longer I could do this. I gave them a kiss & told them to go home & be with my baby brother. I loved them & I could handle this.

I was not worth going to war over.... well, so I thought. A week had passed & I was still at the hospital only this time. When I woke up, it wasn't Dr. Andrew. He was big & tall. He had to be almost 7 feet tall. I scrambled on the bed, thinking it was Dalton at first & then in came Dr. Andrew.

"Rose shhhssshhh Rose, calm down. He is here to help you. He's the Lycan king & the key to your freedom. He is your mate Rose." Said, Dr. Andrew. When I finally calmed down enough, I realized that his scent smelled like peppermint & chocolate. I don't know why, but that's what he smelled like. Maybe it was my pregnancy hormones, but I guess I would find out after I have the baby.

My baby had started doing better, but I hate being on bed rest. The Lycan King stayed in the room & when Dr. Andrew brought in the ultrasound machine to check on the baby he immediately got up to leave, but I grabbed his shirt. I was honestly scared now about what would happen to me. Especially if Dalton found out I knew who my mate was. He quickly turned around and stood with me. When he saw the baby on the monitor, he dropped to his knees.

I saw tears in his eyes & I knew he was my mate right then & there. King Kingsley held my hand the whole time. Dalton & I were mated & marked each other, so when I started feeling a pain I had never felt before, it was because he was doing something. Lilly texted me to tell me he had been fooling around for a whole week with some woman. She asked how I was & if the babies were ok. I told her the truth as she became one of my best friends here.

She was beyond p***ed. I was ready to divorce him. I had a lawyer draw up the papers stating that I was divorcing Dalton, I found my mate & was willing to keep the peace agreement if I would be allowed to go with my mate. I was going to have King Kingsley go with me just for safety & the lawyers too. Dr. Andrew also cautioned me to do as little as possible. He was writing up his paper to leave this pack.

I in the mean time began packing all my things. I was leaving one way or another. What was crazy was I began telling the pack why I had been hospitalized & I showed the documents to prove why I had problems. The only papers I didn't show was the paperwork about my pregnancy. I wanted no one to know about it until it was too late. Lilly was the only one other than the Lycan King, Dr. Andrew & I who knew.

She was an Omega , but she wanted to no longer be in this pack. She helped me & the Lycan king pack. She knew I was particular about how I packed so she made sure to pack all my stuff. She somehow managed to sneak a whole bunch of boxes & bring them to my bedroom. After a couple hours I had to sit down & I started to feel dizzy & sick. Only I didn't get to sit down I had to make a mad dash for the bathroom.

King Kingsley ran in after me holding my hair back, rubbing my back while Lilly got me a cold bottle of water. I felt like I was so sick it hurt my stomach. I went back to the hospital to see Dr. Andrew, He ultrasound my stomach again, which seemed to be a bit bigger. The baby looked great & he was able to tell me the gender. I was unsure if I wanted to know, so I decided to have a small gender reveal party with only the people who knew. Luckily my adopted family said we could come over to have this small party.

It felt great to get back to doing some things, but I still didn't want to overdo it. I was glad he said the baby was ok, & I was just a little dehydrated & I needed more water. I was having cravings so of course king Kingsley took me to get something to eat. Thank God because I was hungry. All I wanted was pringles with cheese dip followed by chocolate tracks ice cream with crushed up pretzels, M&Ms, & sweet pickles. We all watched a movie in my room when we got back, & ate some pizza, & of course I ate my craving food along with that. After all I'm eating for two now.
