Chapter 10

The next day morning, my alarm rang loud enough to wake up both of us, I sent a text to Jack regarding my sudden leave plan. I packed some of my stuff. Frank did not have any of his dresses and he said that he can purchase for him later.

In his sports bike, with my back bag, in the fresh morning breeze, we both started our journey with mindful of joy and excitement. I felt like my whole life was so easy when I was with Frank. Every single day, he mocks me with surprises like a first hug, first text, and his possessiveness and now he was traveling with me.

Everything was so beautiful when I was with him. With my face full of a bright smile, we had started our travel.

‘where are we even going?’, he asked.

‘Let’s go to the place where we first met’

He chuckled hearing this and was driving the bike towards the hill station.

In between, he stopped in a cloth shop to buy some clothes for him and we put a halt in a restaurant for breakfast.

We reached the wood house where I had been kidnapped and kept blindfolded for a long time. A sudden nostalgic feeling hit my mind so hard after seeing the house.

At that time, no one was there at the house. I could see the camp fire’s ashes in front of the house where those thugs were drinking the other day. I remembered the man who slapped me for running away and Frank rescued me from him.

We both smiled at each other after seeing the house and he showed me the forest where I was about to run inside the other day. If I had run into it, for sure I would be lost in the jungle, because it was so thick and far spread.

Then he took me to a villa, and he said that he rented it. ‘Hotel would be much cheaper’, I snapped.

‘This is not that expensive’.

That house was so huge and located in one of the prettiest views with lakeshore, and it had a swimming pool, tennis court, and kitchen stuff and the house looked so elegant. No way it could be cheaper, ‘Can we just stay in a hotel?’, I asked cautiously after seeing around the house.

‘I am allergic to Hotels’, he snapped.

‘Okay’, I said and turned my lips.

The bedroom, which was on the first floor, was sophisticated like a five-star hotel suite and I never stayed in an expensive house before, never even went inside a house which was that huge. I was fully in a gaze and I could not blink my eyes seeing the beauty of the house.

As soon as I entered the bedroom, he approached me and gave me something like a box, ‘It’s for you’, handed it to me. I bought it with a puzzled look.

I opened the wrapper and found it was an expensive phone, I exhaled heavily and I wanted to say that I cannot accept this because I knew where the money comes from to buy this, but I did not want to be oppressive and said with a smile, ‘When did you buy this?’.

He just shrugged.

‘Thank you, it’s nice’. I shut eyes and I hugged him.

He was about to turn, ‘Frank, I am sorry, I actually lied to you.’ I said cautiously.

‘What?’, he narrowed his eyes and stared at me.

‘I am sorry, my birthday is on August 8th, I just lied to you because I want to be with you’, I showed a baby like apologetic face.

He smiled, ‘It’s okay. I too wanted to be you’

‘really?’, my face was full of a grin.

He left the room with silence.

Then I cooked some food since all the groceries were already there in the kitchen. After he came from the shower, we were having Lunch at supper time.

‘Tell me about your family’, I started the conversation.

‘I have no family. What about you?’, he said this so casually.

‘umm, my mother died when I was a kid and my father married another woman. Me and my twin sister Linda…’

‘Wait, you have a twin sister?’

‘yeah’

‘You never mentioned that.’

I shrugged, ‘and my younger sister Elena. We all grew up in an orphanage home’, I said this and gave a pride look. I had no idea why I did that.

He just peered at me and nodded, ‘oh’. I was still not satisfied with his answer about his family and was curious about him, ‘you don’t have any family member?’

‘No’

‘Where are your parents then?’

‘they died long before’

‘No siblings?’

He gave a look which told me that I was irritating him with more questions.

‘okay. Let’s go out for a walk after the meal’.

After the meal, we started walking, there was nothing I loved more in my life than being with Frank. I felt so protective like I was a queen and he was my knight whose duty was to protect me. It was quite a long walk and we went pretty far from the house.
