It's an awfully quiet evening at the Adams's house. The heat in the kitchen increases as the stoves burn hotter, Kiana gathers her hair to the centre of the head and rounds it up to form a bun. Her heart is not at the kitchen, perhaps she should have just ordered takeaways instead. But the pots are already on the stove, she has to finish cooking, she just hopes that the food will be tasty. She prepares Chinese fried rice, beef stew and salads. After a few minutes of battling with the pots in the kitchen she heaves a sigh of relief as she is done and ready to set the dining table.
