After Bryce takes Sam’s phone and walks out of the room, Kiana remains behind gazing at Sam with mixed emotions and no idea what to say to him. She was not pleased when she first found out that Janet asked her husband to adopt Sam. The thought of Janet’s child living with them and being part of her life and her family didn’t feel right, she worried about a lot of things, how he would behave, if he would cause fights between her and her husband or if he would be a bad influence to her kids and if he could be trusted to respect their privacy and not report to his mother everything that goes on in her home.
