Getting the Phone Number

The next day at work I didn't see Dylan until around break. I went in the breakroom as I got my lunch. He was already sitting down as I sat behind him again. He turned around as I looked at him and smile.

"Good morning" I spoke as he looked at me and smiled.

"Hey"' He spoke back as I leaned into the chair as my mom came bursting into the break room asking for my car keys. I gave her the keys as I kept eating. We made small conversation about the job again but that was all. I ended up leaving to get back to work talking to my co workers laughing and playing around.  When he walked over to my area.

"Hey" he smile as I smile staring at him.

"Hey" I spoke as he stood by my area as he let me know he was rover for the day giving people breaks and bathroom breaks and what not. 

"So when can I get your number: I joked as he laughed and smile.

"How about you give me your number" He told me as I shrugged and nodded. 

"I'll write it down for you when I go on break again" I let him know as he nodded

"Cool" He smile as we stared at each other. I smile as we conversated about what we liked to do and basic things about our selves like favorite colors and sports and things like that. 

Later in the day I had a chance to write down my number to give it to him. I gave it to him on the last break and haven't seen him sense. Once 2:00pm came around again. I ended up signing out and walking to the exit to see him again. 

"Hey" I spoke as he looked at me.

"Hey" he smile as I stared at him.

"You need a ride again" I asked him as he thought about and shook his head no.

"No, i'm good" He told me as I looked at him and nodded.

"Okay, I'll see you later" I let him know as I left out the work place and walk to my car to see my mom. She look at me and I smile.

"You driving" I asked her as she shrugged and nodded

"I guess" She told me as I went to open the door only for her to stopped me.

"That boy was cute, he don't need a ride" She asked me s I shook my head no.

"I already asked him" I let her know as she stared at the door.

"Go ask again" she told me as I looked at her.

"What" I frowned as she looked at me.

"You gave him a ride yesterday right, go ask him again to make sure" She told me as I sighed but went to asked Dylan again.

I walked in the building as he looked at me confused.

"You sure you don't need a ride" I asked him as he nodded his head.

"I'm good' He told me as I nodded and left. I went back to the car as my mom frowned and made me go asked him again.

I went back in the building and he looked up at me again.

"My mom wants to know are you positive you don't need a ride" I told him as he laughed and nodded.

"I'm good, My ride coming" He told me smiling as I smile and nodded.

"Okay" I told him as I went back to the car and looked at my mom as I sighed.

"He said his ride is coming" I let her know as she nodded and we finally got in the car and left. We made it home and I shower and laid down as I ended up falling asleep. 

I woke up around 6:00pm. I grabbed my phone as I looked and saw I had a missed call from a random number. I sent a message asking who it was.

Hey, what going on-k

nothing, what you doing-D

Nothing-K

Just as my phone ended up ringing from the  number Dylan texted me from. I answered it as I heard his voice.

"hello"- k

"Hey"-D

"What you was doing"-D

"Nothing, just woke up"-K

"No wonder you didn't answer"-D

"Yeah, and I don't really answer random numbers"-K

"Good thing you message me"- D

I laughed as we made conversation getting to know each other and ended up being on the phone for hours until my mom came in the room.

"who you talking too" My mom asked me as I looked at her and smile.

"That boy you said was cute" I let her know as she smile and nodded.

"Did you want to ride with us in the morning, he can stay the night" She told me as I frowned.

"I don't know him like that" I let her know as she stared at me.

"Ask him if he wants to stay the night" She frowned as I sighed as I put the phone back up to my ear.

"my mom want to know If you want to stay the night" I asked him as he answered Yes. 

"Okay, I'll be there to pick you up in a few" I let him know as she smile and walked out the room. 

I got up and left out the house and saw it was around 9:00pm. I sighed as I left to pick Dylan up to stay the night.
