My own Companion

To the girl who came into this world on 11 December 2012, her arrival was filled with both joy and concern. When she was born, the doctors told her parents that she did not have a nose. This news shocked her family and made them deeply worried. Later, she was taken for an X-ray to discover the truth. After careful examination, the doctors confirmed that her nose was present, but it was a bit underdeveloped compared to others. To that tiny little girl, she did not know that one day she would travel through childhood, teenage years, and even adulthood mostly alone. Life had only just begun for her, and many experiences were waiting ahead. She had no idea about the journey, challenges, and changes that would slowly shape her beautiful future she never imagined. She entered the world with innocence and purity, unaware of how strong she would one day have to become. Every small moment around her felt new and unknown. The world was big, and her story had only just begun to unfold, step by step. What seemed simple in the beginning would later become a path filled with lessons, emotions, pain, and growth. She grew into an obedient little girl who never gave pressure to her parents. She was innocent, soft-hearted, and quietly agreed to everything she was told. She never refused food or sleep and peacefully followed her routines. Her early days were calm and simple, filled with quiet happiness and the comfort of her family’s care. After six months, the first feeling of loneliness slowly entered her life. Her mother had to leave her with her grandmother and go to work. From then on, she spent only about five to six hours a day with her parents, while most of her time was spent with her grandmother. At that young age, the little girl did not understand why things were changing around her. She simply continued living her small daily life, unaware that her grandmother was slowly becoming her second mother. With time, her grandmother became her comfort, care, and support in every little moment, guiding her gently through her early childhood. Soon, the little girl even began calling her grandmother “mom.” She slowly became completely dependent on her, finding comfort only in her presence. Wherever she went, she wanted her grandmother beside her because only then did she feel safe, peaceful, and happy. Her grandmother became her entire world, always caring for her with patience, warmth, and unconditional love. Their bond grew stronger.
