Xion King (In the Closet)

1701 Words
“Yes, baby, right there…” I was trying my best to tone Nicole out while I beat her s**t in from the back. I had her bent over in the training rooms cleaning closet. She was making so much unnecessary noise. She was making this unnecessary noise to let everyone know that she was being f**ked, most likely by me. I pulled completely out of her and tucked my d**k back in my pants once she started screaming and running from the d**k like I was killing her ass. “Baby, what’s wrong? You didn’t finish. Is everything alright? …” She asked while standing in front of me, looking like a damn clown with her makeup all f**ked up now. “Look, Nicole, this isn’t going to work if you keep it up with all these damn antics…” She had the nerve to look at me like she was completely clueless to what I was referring to. “Baby, I thought we were just having fun,” she said, pouting slightly. I could see that she genuinely didn’t understand how her behavior was affecting our time together, and I sighed, trying to find the right words to make her see my point. “Fun is great, but there’s a fine line between fun and chaos,” I replied, attempting to keep my tone even. “But you doing all that screaming and carrying on is for the birds. Even I know my d**k not good enough to be doing all that. This is the last time I'm f**king you." I turned and opened the closet door. I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts. While she was putting on a show, my dad mind-linked me to tell me that we would be having guests over tonight. I needed to be ready for seven o'clock, and it was already 6:00pm. I walked out of the closet not surprised to see that we had a small audience. They stood there, a mix of confusion and amusement on their faces. They pretended not to be paying attention as I walked past. Everyone, with the exception of my best friend Beans. Bean's real name is Cole. He had always found a way to turn any situation into a lighthearted moment. "You know," he said with a smirk, "if you keep this up, we might need to start charging admission for the show." I rolled my eyes but couldn’t help but smile; his humor was just what I needed to ease my nerves before the evening began. “Bro, you were in there killing the b**ch or something?” He has this goofy-ass expression on his face. His expression makes me laugh and shake my head. Beans already knew the games Nicole liked to play. We had all been a part of each other’s lives since birth. Literally, all three of us were born on the same day, at the same time, in the same hospital. Our moms thought it was a sign from our wolf goddess that we were supposed to be in each other’s lives. WWe were all cool and friends until middle school, when Nicole decided we should be mates, no matter if our Goddess actually made us soulmates or not. Once we reached puberty and my d**k started to get hard around girls, I said f**k it and started f**king her. Despite my wolf, Ty, persistently pleading with me not to bed her and to wait for our true mate, I went ahead and did just that. I knew I was crossing a line, but the thrill of the forbidden was intoxicating. Ty's warnings echoed in my mind, but the lust I felt with Nicole was undeniable, leaving me torn between desire and destiny. As you can see, I didn’t listen. Given Nicole's possessiveness towards me, I now realize that I should have listened more. I'd never truly planned to make Nicole my Luna. I like any male wolf; I desire to claim my true mate. Being with someone who is a perfect fit for you is an unparalleled feeling. I justified my sleeping with Nicole as practice for my Luna. But I knew I was only lying to myself. As a lustful alpha male, I allowed my passion to guide me towards Nicole. However, I deeply understood that the bond I craved with my true mate could not be replaced by any physical attraction. The more time I spent with Nicole, the clearer it became that I was only setting myself up for heartbreak when my real Luna would eventually enter my life. I knew deep down that it would prevent me from moving on peacefully.. “And like I’ve told you hundreds of times before, we could've appeased our lust with anyone but her. She's too attached to us. I want mate, not that bimbo,” Ty growled in my head. I couldn't ignore the truth in Ty's words. I took the tie off my locs and shook them out, frustrated with myself at this point. I was dead serious when I told her that today was the last time. I'd been over it for a while now. I'd be named alpha in a few months. I needed to clear up all the drama before the school year starts so that I can completely focus on alpha training and my future duties to the pack. “I should’ve listened to you and Ty when it came to her ass. Recently, I've been experiencing a sense of impending repercussions. Ty nodded in agreement, his expression serious. “You know how unpredictable she can be; we can’t afford any distractions when the stakes are this high.” I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of responsibility settle on my shoulders. "You're right," I replied, determination hardening my resolve. "We need to stay vigilant and be prepared for anything." I stopped walking and looked at him before saying, "I’ve been having this nagging feeling lately that my life was about to be changed…" His brow furrowed, and he studied me intently. "What do you mean? Changed how?" The urgency in his voice matched the tension in the air, and I knew I had to share my thoughts before it was too late. "I'm not sure, but the change is going to come with a whole lot of problems. Problems I don’t need added to my plate right now." He nodded slowly, still searching my eyes for clarity. "I understand that," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "But we'll handle it when the time comes. Now come on, let's get to the pack house. Your dad invited me to dinner as well." "Alright," I said, forcing a smile despite the weight of uncertainty pressing down on me. As we turned to head toward the pack house, I couldn't shake the feeling that more was at stake than just the dinner invitation. He couldn’t help but say, “You just better hope her mate shows up before our Luna does.” When he said that, my eyes shot to him. We locked eyes and shared the same look. The look was a mixture of stress and pure hopefulness. “L"Let's get ready for this dinner, man; we can brainstorm ideas on how to get rid of Nicole later," he said, firmly gripping my shoulder in brotherly support. By seven, my mother and I, with my sixteen-year-old sister Karman, two-year-old brother Tj, and father, sat around the living room debriefing before our guests showed up. Father started off by letting us know that the mom is human and that she knows about our kind, being that she was adopted by a wolf family. Her daughter’s father was also a wolf shifter who died in a tragic car accident. The daughter had yet to show any signs of the wolf gene, but her mother suspects that she will. “Xi you and Karman will be in charge of making sure she finds her way for the first few weeks of school. It’s crucial that she feels safe and supported during this transition, especially given her unique background. Both of you are well-equipped to guide her, understanding the challenges she may face and helping her embrace her identity fully. Her mother is concerned that she won't adjust well, given her initial reluctance to relocate here. We nodded; this wasn’t our first time playing the welcoming committee since we are the first family, and I’m the future alpha of the pack. After going over a few more things about our new pack member and her daughter, we heard a car pulling up. We exchanged glances, anticipation building as we prepared to greet them. The sound of the door opening and footsteps approaching filled the air. When we got up to go greet them, Beans rounded the corner looking GQ ready. My boy took his role as my future beta very seriously, and I appreciated that about him. After we shook up, we started to make our way to the front of the house with everyone else. I could hear the introductions taking place. The closer we got to the front door, the more a strong scent of honey and lavender attacked my senses. It was refreshing and inviting, making me feel instantly at ease. “Mate is home,” Ty said, trotting around in my head. I could feel his enthusiasm all throughout my body. “Mate…” I questioned. Beans looked at me, catching what I’d said, before picking up his pace to get to the door. As we approached, my heart raced with a mix of excitement and curiosity. The thought of meeting my mate filled me with a warmth that felt almost tangible, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something extraordinary awaited. However, as I drew closer to the door, a sense of apprehension began to creep in. The idea of meeting my mate was thrilling, yet the uncertainty of what lay beyond the threshold made me question whether I was truly ready for such a significant encounter. It can’t be. Can it? I took a deep breath, steadying my nerves as I continued behind Beans to the door.
