In Love With My Tycoon Boyfriend

What happens when an ordinary woman falls in love with a man whose world is filled with money, power, and secrets?

For Amelia, love was never part of her plans. She was focused on building a better life for herself and staying away from complicated relationships. Then she meets Damian, a wealthy and successful businessman whose name is known almost everywhere. Their first meeting is far from romantic, and Amelia has no idea that the arrogant man she dislikes is actually one of the most powerful tycoons in the city.

Damian is used to getting whatever he wants. People approach him because of his money, influence, and family name, so he has learned not to trust easily. Amelia is different. She doesn't care about his expensive cars, luxurious mansion, or business empire. She speaks her mind, challenges him, and treats him like an ordinary man. Before he realizes what is happening, he finds himself wanting to spend more time with her.

As their relationship grows, Amelia is pulled into a world she knows almost nothing about. There are jealous women, family expectations, business enemies, painful secrets, and people who believe she isn't good enough for a man like Damian.

For the first time, Damian has something he cannot simply buy or control—the love of a woman who wants him for who he really is.

But when secrets from his past threaten to destroy everything between them, Amelia must decide whether she can trust him again. Damian, meanwhile, must learn that protecting the woman he loves doesn't mean making every decision for her.

Their journey is filled with misunderstandings, jealousy, laughter, heartbreak, and second chances. Along the way, they discover that a relationship cannot survive on wealth alone. It takes honesty, trust, patience, and two people willing to fight for each other.

In Love With My Tycoon Boyfriend is a romantic story about two people from completely different worlds who unexpectedly find love—and must decide whether that love is strong enough to overcome everything standing between them.

Chapter One: The Day Everything Changed
Amelia had always believed that ordinary days were the most dangerous. They looked harmless. Nothing unexpected seemed to be waiting around the corner. You woke up, went to work, complained about traffic, worried about bills, laughed with a friend, and went home. Then, sometimes, one ordinary day quietly changed the direction of your entire life. Amelia just didn't know that this was going to be one of those days. She stood in front of the small mirror hanging above her bedroom table, trying to decide whether her blouse looked presentable enough for work. "It will have to do," she muttered. She smoothed the wrinkles from the front of the blouse and picked up her handbag. Her room was small, but Amelia had learned to make the best of it. A narrow bed sat against one wall, a little wooden table stood beside the window, and a few books were stacked neatly in the corner. There was nothing luxurious about her life, but she had never been ashamed of it. She had bigger things to worry about. Her rent was due in two weeks. Her younger brother had called the previous night asking for help with his school expenses. And her salary seemed to disappear almost as soon as it entered her account. Amelia sighed. "One problem at a time." She grabbed her phone and hurried out of the room. By the time she reached the street, the morning was already noisy. Cars filled the road, buses stopped wherever they pleased, and people moved quickly as though everyone was already late for something. Amelia checked the time. "Great. Just great." She started walking faster. She couldn't afford to be late again. Her job at the marketing company wasn't glamorous, but she was grateful for it. She had been there for almost two years, and although the salary wasn't much, she had slowly built a reputation for being reliable. She wanted more, though. One day, she wanted her own company. She wanted a home where she wouldn't have to calculate every expense before buying something. Most importantly, she wanted to be able to look after her family without constantly worrying about money. Love wasn't on the list. At least, not yet. By nine-thirty, Amelia was sitting behind her desk, staring at her computer screen. Her colleague, Sarah, dropped into the chair beside her. "You look tired." "I am tired." "You look like you haven't slept." "I slept." Sarah raised an eyebrow. "Two hours doesn't count." Amelia laughed despite herself. "You came here to work or to insult me?" "Both." They laughed. For a few minutes, the pressure of the morning disappeared. Then Sarah glanced toward the glass doors of the office. "Have you heard?" "Heard what?" "Mr. Damian Black is coming today." Amelia stopped typing. "Who?" Sarah looked at her as though she had just asked who the president was. "Damian Black." "And I'm supposed to know him?" "Everyone knows him." Amelia shrugged. "Well, I don't." Sarah leaned closer. "He's the owner of Blackstone Group. The company is worth billions." Amelia looked back at her computer. "Good for him." Sarah stared at her. "That's all you have to say?" "What do you want me to say?" "He's incredibly wealthy. And apparently very handsome." Amelia smiled. "You sound like you're planning to marry him." "Don't tempt me." They both laughed again. Sarah lowered her voice. "Apparently, he's here to discuss a major business partnership with our director." "Then let's hope he signs the contract and leaves." Sarah shook her head. "You're impossible." Amelia smiled. She honestly didn't care about Damian Black. Rich men were not her weakness. She had seen enough people become interested in money instead of people to know that wealth didn't automatically make someone worth knowing. Besides, she had work to do. An hour later, Amelia was carrying a stack of documents toward the conference room when she received a message from her supervisor. Please take these files to the conference room immediately. She sighed. Of course. She balanced the files against her chest and hurried down the corridor. At the same moment, the conference room door opened. Someone stepped out. Amelia didn't see him. She walked straight into him. The files slipped from her hands. Papers scattered across the floor. "Oh my God!" She immediately bent down. "I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking." The man didn't answer. Amelia picked up several papers before finally looking up. And stopped. The first thing she noticed was his eyes. Calm. Serious. Almost impossible to read. He was dressed in a dark suit that looked expensive without being flashy. His posture was confident, and there was something about the way he stood that made the busy corridor suddenly feel quiet. Amelia quickly looked away. "Sorry," she repeated. He bent down and picked up one of the papers. "You should be more careful." Amelia looked at him. Something about his tone irritated her. "I know." He handed her the paper. Their fingers briefly touched. Neither of them spoke. Then he looked at the document in his hand. "You're Amelia?" She frowned. "How do you know my name?" Before he could answer, the company director appeared from the conference room. "Mr. Black, there you are. We were wondering where you went." Amelia's expression changed. Mr. Black? She looked at the man standing in front of her. Surely not. The director smiled. "Amelia, this is Mr. Damian Black, the chairman of Blackstone Group." Her stomach dropped. She looked at Damian. He was watching her with the faintest hint of amusement in his eyes. "So," he said quietly, "you don't know me?" Amelia wanted the floor to open and swallow her. She had just walked into the richest man in the building. And told him to be more careful. She forced a smile. "It appears I don't." The director laughed nervously. "Amelia is one of our best employees. She's usually very careful." "Apparently not today," Damian replied. Amelia narrowed her eyes. Was he making fun of her? Before she could respond, the director called Damian back into the conference room. Damian took one step away, then stopped. He looked at her again. "Try not to walk into anyone else." Amelia stared after him. Unbelievable. She gathered the remaining papers and walked away. The moment she reached the office, Sarah rushed toward her. "What happened?" "Nothing." "You look like you just saw a ghost." "Worse." Sarah frowned. "What?" Amelia dropped the documents on her desk. "I walked into Damian Black." Sarah's eyes widened. "You did what?" "And I told him to be careful." There was a moment of silence. Then Sarah burst out laughing. Amelia covered her face with both hands. "Please don't laugh." "I'm sorry." Sarah was still laughing. "I'm really sorry." "No, you're not." "Not even a little." Amelia shook her head. She didn't know why, but despite her embarrassment, she couldn't stop thinking about those calm eyes. There had been something strange about him. Something she couldn't explain. She pushed the thought away. It didn't matter. She would probably never see him again. At least, that was what she believed. That evening, Damian sat in the back of his car while the city moved past the tinted windows. His assistant, Daniel, sat in the front seat reviewing the day's schedule. "The meeting with the investors is confirmed for tomorrow at ten." Damian nodded. "And the dinner?" "Eight o'clock." "Cancel it." Daniel looked back. "Cancel?" "Yes." He made a note. There was a brief silence. Then Daniel glanced at him through the mirror. "You seem distracted." "I'm not." Daniel smiled slightly. He had worked for Damian for nearly five years. He knew when his employer was lying. "Is this about the woman from the office?" Damian looked out the window. "What woman?" "The one you walked into." Damian finally looked at him. "She walked into me." Daniel laughed. "Of course." Damian ignored him. But for some reason, he couldn't forget the woman's face. She hadn't looked at him the way people usually did. There had been no excitement. No nervous attempt to impress him. No obvious interest in his wealth. She had simply been annoyed. And strangely enough, he found that refreshing. "What was her name?" Damian asked. Daniel smiled. "Amelia." Damian repeated the name quietly. "Amelia." For reasons he couldn't explain, he already knew he wanted to hear it again. And somewhere across the city, Amelia was getting ready for bed, completely unaware that her brief encounter with Damian Black had caught his attention. She thought the day was over. She was wrong. It was only the beginning.
