Chapter 8

SERENITY I may have slept a couple hours when I woke up to the sound of screaming. No matter how many times I tried to convince her that they would find us, I even questioned myself. It's not like Vito is the type of man to allow us to ever leave. It seems like the guy has eyes in the back of his head. He watches every move that I make and I know that if I am not careful, I could lose my life. Every time I heard footsteps, I prepared for the worse, but Vito had not come into my room for the past twelve hours, which is unlike him. I couldn't help but to picture Tyson's face and how worried he must be. I wondered why Vito did this to me. I haven't done anything to anybody. I truly had no idea who the hell he was, but he must be one of the men on Tyson's bad side. Although he never mentioned anyone having the name Vito. "Serenity?" I looked up and saw a man wearing a face mask standing outside my cell. "Y-yes?" "Are you hungry?" "Where's Vito?" The man shook his head. "Are you hungry or not, b***h? Because I couldn't care less. You could starve for all I care." "Bring her to the room." I suddenly heard Vito's voice coming from the hallway and the man unlocked my cell, grabbed my arm fairly harshly and dragged me down the hallway, shoving me down on one of the seats. I saw Rosey sitting across from me, her hands tightly bound. "I would like to apologize." I looked at Vito and scowled. "Excuse me?" "For my behavior last night." "It's fine." He stood up and sat on the chair next to me, sliding his hand up my thigh. "You are going to be a good girl for me, Serenity." "What?" Smirking, he surprisingly picked me up gently and I watched Rosey looking at me with a concerned look as Vito took me back to the cell. I noticed a clean white sheet and a thin pillow on the metal bed. "I figured I could make you feel more at home." "This will never feel like home." "Soon, darling." He locked the door and placed me on the bed, not chaining my arms together. "I felt your skin needed a little break from that cold metal, don't you think?" "Why should you give a s**t?" "I did this for your own good, darling. He's a dangerous man, Serenity. I mean, how well do you really know him?" "Better than I know you." Raising his eyebrows, he stood up and undid his belt. "Umm... What are you doing?" "I think you know what I am doing. You put the moves on me after all."
