Chapter 14

335 Words
SERENITY I suddenly woke up, my vision extremely blurred but I heard muffled voices. "I can't believe those sons of bitches found us." "It was Price's mistake." My vision cleared and I realized I was in a car with Danielle and Rosey next to me. I felt something wet and I reached for my stomach, feeling a sharp pain. There was a large deep gash in my stomach that was bleeding. "We got away just in time before they could catch up with us." "Serenity sure puts up a fight, but I think the wound really slowed her down." "I believed in you, Dale." "It's a shame we had to kill the other two, but they chose not to listen." "She should have known." My whimper alerted Vito and he turned around. "Ah, you're awake." "W-where am I?" "You're safe now." "You killed Danielle and Rosey!" "That's the consequence of not obeying my rules." "We're here." Dale shut the car engine off and Vito opened the back passenger door, grabbing Danielle and Rosey's bodies and dumped them in a pile of logs and trees in the woods. "Are you sure no one will find their bodies?" "They would have to look hard enough to find it." After Vito came back, I kicked his arm as he tried to pick me up. "You little b***h!" I stumbled out of the car and as I tried to run away from Vito, I tripped over a tree limb. "Help m..." I felt a pair of arms and a sharp pain near my lower back. "You make one more stupid move, I'll make sure to get all of the organs I've missed so far." "You sick f**k!" Dale laughed and picked me up, shoving me back into the car. Once I tried to open the door, it was locked and I saw Dale dangling the keys in front of me outside with a smirk. I slumped back on the seat, losing hope. I won't ever get away from him.
