I open my eyes, my vision very blurry. The only thing I could make out was the dimly lit room with concrete walls and the sound of faint music. As I tried to move my arms, I realized something: my arms were tightly bound with rope, leaving me completely helpless.
"Somebody help me!"
Suddenly the door opened and a man approached me. "Serenity, right?"
"H-how do you know my name? Please let me go!"
He knelt next to me and pressed a knife blade across my throat. "He will never find you."
"You're wrong! Tyson will find me!"
"No sweetheart, he won't. But don't you worry, I will keep you safe here."
"P-please let me go."
"You play by my rules, Serenity. If you obey, you have a chance of living but if you disobey, I will certainly be happy to add you to my list. Got it?"
Tears slid down my cheeks as I nodded. "Y-yes."
He stood up and smirked. "Welcome home, Serenity."
"Home?"
The man nodded and shut the door behind him, leaving me alone in the dark.
The only thing I remember was being at the restaurant with Tyson and his friends.
Think Serenity, think. There was a man who I did not know whispering in my ear, “Tell Lewis his luck has ended.”
