Captivating Eyes

        Pierce stares at the girl intensely, and starts to feel his body heat get hotter and hotter by the second. She wore a long black v-neck dress with off the shoulder straps, which hugged her curves tightly. On her face she had a black laced mask, with red lips and dark makeup. Her bare neck had a silver necklace with a small circular diamond in the middle of it. To complete the whole outfit, she had black velvet heels on. 

"Pierce, tell him he's an i***t please!" Cassandra shouted at her brother.

"Pierce?" Arthur asked curiously, since Pierce didn't reply to Cassandra.

Pierce walks away, while mumbling, "I'll be back."

"Brother?" Cassandra said, then she looked at where her brother was staring.

Arthur looked also, "Who the heck is that?"

"I think he's about to find out." Cassandra chuckles softly.

        Josephine walked down to the center of the ball room, then she looked around at everyone mingling. She turns around to find a spot to stand, but she is suddenly stopped by a huge broad chest. She bumps into the man softly before looking up at him.

"Oh god, I am so sorry-" Josephine started to say, but she froze.

        Josephine stared into his beautiful, captivating eyes as if they put her under a spell. She felt her whole body heat rising, her heart thumping fast, and her abdomen starting to throb. She quickly shook the feeling of her s****l hormones off. The man stared deeply into her eyes. 

"No, I am the one who should've watched where I was going." He said with a deep voice.

Josephine gulps down the lump in her throat, "Um, I guess we're both at fault, excuse me."

        She started to walk away, but the man grabbed her wrist. She stops in her tracks with a burning feeling of lust as he touched her skin. He softly smirks at her, knowing they feel the same way. 

"Would you like to dance?" He asked with a soft smile. 

Josephine unknowingly put her hand in his hand, "Yes."

        Pierce wrapped his arm around her waist, while his other hand held her hand. Josephine rested one hand on his shoulder with her other hand in his. He started to lead them to dance first, and she followed along. They danced so closely as if they were longing for each other. Their eyes as they stared into each other's souls, were burning with passion.

"Do you have a name?" Pierce asked her with a smile.

Josephine took a minute before answering, "Josephine, my name is Josephine."

        Pierce gave her an accepting look, then pulled her closely to his body. Josephine gasped a bit as she felt his body against hers. Pierce smirks softly before leaning towards her ear.

"Your body wants me." He chuckled softly.

        Josephine widened her eyes with no words able to come out of her mouth. Pierce blows on her ear softly, making her flinch. She grits her teeth, then tries to pull away from him. He quickly pulls her back.

"Who are you?" Josephine asked with a cautious tone.

Pierce smiles, "Pierce."

"And you're an Alpha." Josephine replies, looking at him from head to toe.

Pierce stops dancing, then gently kisses her knuckles, "I will see you again, Omega."

        Josephine stares at him as he walks away, leaving her on the dance floor. Her heart felt like it had been torn. She wanted him. 

        Cassandra and Arthur quickly go up to Pierce as he walks their way. Pierce ignores the questions, then makes his way outside towards the limo waiting in front of the Mansion.

"Arthur, send word to General Goran, and let him know to bring my mate to the palace tomorrow." Pierce said with no hesitation in his voice.

"WHAT!? But-But-" Arthur stuttered, but stopped as soon as Pierce got into the car.

        Josephine finally gets home, then she enters the house quietly. She makes her way upstairs. Once she enters her room, she takes her heels off and tosses them at the foot of her bed. Josephine starts to strip her clothes off and change into her pajamas before laying down. She felt herself starting to fall asleep, but then she suddenly woke up. 

        Josephine quickly snuck downstairs into her Uncle's library, then took a book from the shelves. She creeps back into her room to read the book to herself. As she reads, she starts to think about Pierce. His eyes were so beautiful. I wanted to just- WAIT! WHAT AM I SAYING!?  She said to herself, then smacked her face into her pillow. She looks at the book, and starts to read about Mates.

Mates are connected to each other by souls. When wolves come of age, fate takes it's course in pairing wolves t mate. Usually, mates feel the need to make love, or give each other pleasure. Mates are very possessive of each other and they will feel very clingy when apart. 

"What the hell!?" Josephine said to herself and groaned with irritation.

    I have no control of this!? So, that's why I wanted Pierce so badly. He's my mate. But he seems pretty nice? Very sexy and hot. I wonder if he likes me? Wait, why am I thinking like that!? 

"I feel like I want him..." Josephine whispered to herself.

        Somewhere in the west forests. A man with brown hair huffs and pants as he stops running. His naked body drips with sweat. He turns around to see a woman walking towards him.

"Mmm, you were so good at that." She chuckles softly, then wraps a towel around her naked body.

He growls at her, "You didn't give me much to work with."

She runs up to slap him, "YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE!" 

His eyes start to glow bright yellow, "Don't. Touch. Me"

        He grabs her by her neck before crushing her bones. She chokes out words of help, then falls onto the floor as soon as he let go. 

"Don't forget, that I am the Alpha of this land." He chuckles before kicking her in the ribs.

        Another man walks up to him, and hands him clothes. The man takes it from him, and he turns to see the blue moon shining across the lake. 

"Ace, where shall we go?" The man asked Ace.

Ace pulls his shirt over his head, "Let's go to the North. I wanna visit some Royals and cause chaos." 

        The man bows to him before walking away into the woods. Ace follows behind him, then steps on the woman's broken body.

"I'm tired on this place already." Ace smirks.
