Six months later
Ash and Kegan were well on their way to total recovery from the wounds they’d sustained at the hands of the senator. It had been a slow process, during which they drove Gage crazy. Not literally of course, but still.
“After all, you can’t be any crazier than you are already, even though you are putting up with the two of us,” Ash had said at one point when Gage was about to pull his hair out, trying to keep them both from doing things they weren’t up to yet.
“It’s a good kind of crazy this time,” Gage had replied. “At least you’re both alive, so perhaps I’ll just tie you down to your beds…” He’d winked.
“Now that’s kinky,” Kegan had said. “Maybe when we’re all up for it…”
