Mariana POV The ride back home was quiet, Dion deep in his own thoughts, and me, deep in mine. A lot had been revealed to me about his world in such a chaotic way. I loved speaking with his mother, but she gave me a lot to think about. A lot of new information needs to be sorted through in my mind. The first thing I wanted when we got back was a shower. When Dion’s driver opened his door, I didn’t even wait for Dion to come around to open mine. I let myself out and quickly made my way to the elevator, ignoring the heavy sigh from the man behind me. I’m no longer mad. I’m not annoyed or upset with him in any way.
