Chapter 18

Kyle POV

She removed my hand holding her and stepped back. It confuses me why she is trying to get away from me but I did not mind that.

"I cannot believe that I could find you in this place. Do you know that Shana is actually here just to look for you and save you from the dark wizards?" I asked her but then realised that I missed something.

"Hold on, how did you escape from them?" I asked her. "Jillian?"

This is weird and does not make any sense. Just how did she got away from the dark wizards and why did she not even tried to look for us? What is she even doing in this place and training? And from the way she moves, I can tell that she had been experience in fighting.

And most of all, why do I feel like she is trying to get away from me? Should she be happy to see me and thought that I could help her get back to the mortal world?

My lips parted when she looked at me and slowly, her eyes turned red. Suddenly, she is attacking me with her two katanas.

She is so fast that I could hardly see her move. She indeed has experience in fighting because I could not sense any hesitation with her attacks.

She didn't leave me with a choice but I have to fight her back.

"What happened Jillian? Why are you attacking me?! I'm your ally!" I told her as I try my best to defend myself with her attacks. But she can still get through my defenses at times that I received a few cuts and stab from her.

She jumped away from me and just looked at me.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked her again but she just smiled at me.

"Do you know that Shana has been looking for you? Did you even tried to find us?"

"This is not yet the right time for you to know the truth," she said before she jumped so high that she disappeared from my sight.

I was left there with so many questions running in my head.

Should I even have to tell this to Shana? It will surely cause her pain and I cannot let that happen.

Maybe it's best not to tell her for now.

I started walking until I was running back to the palace.

I need to talk to the only person who can help me in this situation but for now, I have to keep this from Shana.

Jana's POV

Clyde and I are at the garden of the palace. We are seating at the bench looking out at the beautiful flowers and the sunset.

He is just holding my hand while my head is in his shoulder. It was so peaceful when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head.

"Clyde," I called him. My grip to his hand tightened. "I could see something."

He sat in front of me.

"What do you see?" he asked.

"It's a woman," I started. "She's wearing black. Half of her face is covered with a black cloth but I could see familiar eyes. She is holding two katanas and seems like she's training."

Again, that scrutinizing paid that made me yelp.

"I think I saw those two katanas before."

I let go of his hand and hold my head. I've never felt this kind of pain before. It's like my head is being split into two.

"What's happening Jana?" Clyde asked.

"It's painful. This is killing me Clyde!"

Clyde hug me and kiss my forehead.

"Clyde, she's a dark wizard," I told her. "And I could tell, she's dangerous."

I screamed in pain. The last thing that I heard is Clyde calling my name.

I slowly opened my eyes and there I saw Clyde who is holding my hand. Nikki and Jiro are also here.

"What happened Jana?" Jiro asked. "I think this is the first time you lose consciousness after having a vision."

Nikki hold Jiro's hand to calm him down.

"What did you see?" Nikki asked.

I bow down and played with my fingers. I should not tell them this but I know they will not let me go until I tell them about my vision.

"Jana," Clyde called that made me look at them again.

"At the time we least expected, probably a few days or may in a few hours from now, the dark wizards will come," I told them.

"What? But Shanel is not ready" Nikki said.

"That's why we need to hurry up. We need to do everything to get her or us ready before the attack happen.

I look at Clyde and I could see confusion in his eyes because what I'm telling right now is different.

Jiro is looking at me intently.

"Is that it? Is that what made you faint?" he asked that made me avoid his gaze.

"I cannot tell you. And whatever you do, I really cannot tell you," I told them.

I know it will just mess things up once they found out what I saw and they will surely tell Kyle and Shanel about it.

Jiro and Nikki left the room.

I sigh when it's just me and Clyde inside that small room.

"Why did you not tell them about that girl and who she really is?" he asked me.

"It will just mess things up. And knowing Jiro, he would surely tell Kyle about it."

"What did you really see?" Clyde asked.

"Like I said earlier, at the time we least expected, dark wizards will come and that woman in my vision will be leading them. I don't know Clyde, I am trying to remember where I saw those dark brown eyes. But when I saw her eyes, it seems like I saw all the darkness in her heart. And suddenly, her eyes turned red."

I held my forehead because it feels like I am feeling that pain again while remembering those deep red eyes.

Clyde sat beside me and put my head on his shoulder.

"Don't worry. Everything will be alright. I trust Shanel. I know that she will win this fight," Clyde said that made me shook my head,

"She will lose, Clyde. That woman will win," I told her and my tears started falling after seeing how that woman defeated Shanel.

"W-what?"

I quickly wipe my tears when we heard a knock from the door.

"Come in," I said and saw Kyle.

"Is it not a good time?" he asked but I just shook my head. Clyde also got up.

"Can I talk to you? Just the two of us?" Kyle asked and look at Clyde.

Clyde just nod at him and tap his shoulders before he left the room.

"What is it Kyle?" I asked him when Clyde shut the door.

"Did you know that Jillian managed to escape from the dark wizards?" he said that made me shock.

"I saw her earlier but she tried to get away from me when I saw her. She also tried to fight me. But it makes me wonder when did she learned how to fight?"

I asked Kyle to sat at the chair beside my bed.

"I know that it is possible that you already saw on your vision what happened to Jillian while she is imprisoned by the dark wizards that's why I thought that you are also the only person who can give me answers," he said with hopefulness in her voice.

I bow down my head and tried to weigh things.

"Let me tell you something but before that, I want you to know… you're the only person I’ve ever told this to. Even Clyde does not know about this. So please, don't tell anyone, especially Shanel," I told him.

He nods at me.

I ask him to come closer to me and held his forehead. I close my eyes and using my power, I share to him my vision.

After seeing it, he looks at me with disbelief in his eyes.

"Please Kyle, do everything so she can make the right decision and stop this prophecy."
