The Lumen Princess

Chapter 2

“Shan? Shanel?” Jillian called me and snap her fingers in front of me to get my attention.

“Well, he’s kinda handsome.”

“What do you mean kinda? He is handsome! Tss. I really think you need glasses. Anyway let’s go back. Our vacant is almost over. And please, Shan, just keep you mouth shut and play nice,” she said and then drag me into our next classroom.

Chemistry subject. Actually, among all our minor subjects, this one is the most I hated including all other branches of science.

The class already started when the door suddenly open, getting all our attention.

“Oh my gad it’s Kyle, Nikki at Jiro! I didn’t know they were also in this class. We’re so lucky,” said one of our classmate

“Can I sit here?” It was Kyle who asked me and sat down on my left side. Jillian is sitting at my right.

I wanted to tell him that he’s already sitting so why bother asking but then I told Jillian that I will play nice.

A minute later, I was already doodling on my notebook when Jillian gave me a piece of paper and told me to read it.

Smile. You’ve been frowning since the class started. And heads up, Kyle has been staring at you for a while now.

Even though Jillian didn’t tell me, I know that he’s been staring at for a while now. I could feel his eyes piercing into me.

After our class, Jillian and I went to the garden. We usually do this while waiting my time for my part time job. I usually have spare of 2 hours before my part time job would start.

“Okay let’s start. So you already knew that Kyle’s family is the owner of this school. He’s just 21 years old actually but he is already famous at our school as he is always the topnotch of our batch. Aside from that, he is a master of Martial Arts and consistently win as a champion in every competition.”

“Really? Do you think he can beat me?” I asked and she smirked

“He can win in just one punch.”

“Whatever. Continue.”

“Next the siblings, Jiro at Jana Alvrez. We’re one year a head of Jana. If you notice the quiet girl on their group earlier, that’s her. She’s actually timid and usually quiet which is the exact opposite of her brother Jiro. A Cassanova Prince. And then Nikki Torres, the girl from our chemistry class, the Cassanova Princess. They’re actually together.”

“What? You mean they’re in a relationship?”

“Yeah! They’re so cute though, especially when they’re arguing to each other.”

“Okay next is Clyde Ignacio. Well I don’t if there’s something going on between him and Jana but if you notice the quiet type of guy earlier, that’s him. And then Elysse Gyresky. She’s on the same year as Jana. She’s that beautiful yet creepy girl from earlier.”

I sigh. I’m really not interested in them but I also wanted to know them. What’s with to get that much of attention. Yes they’re handsome and beautiful but is that it?

“That girl is really something. I mean, she maybe new and doesn’t know about us but how come she didn’t pay attention to us?” Jiro said when we got back to the mansion.

We’re all living here together.

“You’re right, Babe. She’s somehow different,” Nikki agreed. I went to the living room to see if Prince is in there.

“She’s pretty though,” Jiro said with that knowing smile on his face but he only earn a slap from Nikki.

“Really? How pretty is she? Is prettier that those girls you talk with earlier? You even have the guts to smile at them right in front of me.”

I saw Prince sitting at one of the couch in the living room while reading a book.

“Wow! I only did that because I saw you doing the same thing!”

“How’s school?” Prince asked when I stand in front of him. Jiro and Nikki also stopped quarelling. “Have a seat,” he said and that’s the only time we sit and I sat beside him.

“Are there any news?” he asked then close his book to look at me.

“I’m sorry. But still nothing,” I answered him and that made him smile sadly.

“Her birthday is almost there but we still have no clue on where she is. It is too dangerous for her if she will stay in this world a little longer.”

This world. The mortal world, a world for those powerless human beings.

This guy beside me, Prince Shone Glacies is the Lumen Prince, the prince of Magus World. It’s a world were mythical creatures and wizards live. It’s our world. Prince is the only son of King Joe Glacies and Queen Diana A’ris, the most powerful wizards in our world. They are the king and queen of the Magus World until the Dark Wizards took over and killed them both.

Prince has a twin sister who is right one to rule the Magus World. But a war break to our world, one of the king and queen’s trusted servant brought her to this mortal world to save her.

Now the seven of us were given a task to find the princess, our rightful queen.

According to Jana’s vision, we could fine the princess in the university we will attending to so we build a university of our own, the Gallens University.

“I will make sure to find her before her birthday, Shone,” I told him not as one of his people but as his bestfriend.

“By the way, who is that girl you’re talking about earlier?” he asked Jiro and Nikki.

“Oh it’s a new girl from our school. You could have seen Kyle’s face earlier when she ignored him.”

And then, the Elemental Guardian, Zairen came.

“He’s right, my Prince. If Master Kyle didn’t come near her, he won’t even notice his existence.”

Zairen is always with us but he has the power to be invisible so he’s just always hiding. He is actually a Nature Gnome.

“There’s something about her Shone,”said Elysse who sat on the other side of the Princce.

“There’s something in her eyes that I don’t understand. I can’t even read her mind,” she said and that’s the longest sentence she ever said since we came into this world.

If Jana has the power to see the future and sometimes have visions about it, Elysse has the power to read minds.

There was a moment of silence between us. Another thing is that, she wasn’t enchanted in our charms. There’s actually a spell that Elysse put on us that will grab anyone’s attention by just our mere presence. This is to make sure that we will come to know every human we will encounter. But that girl, I don’t know how and why wasn’t she enchanted by that.

“You need to get to know her just to make sure. At this moment, I don’t want to assume that she is my sister.” he said and look at the necklace that he’s been holding.

“Okay. We will befriend her.” I said.
