THAT QUEEN

Chapter 10

6 years ago.

I sighed and listened to my mother's rants. She was in front of me and it was almost noon. Damn! I will be late for school! 

No one even told me that she will arrive today In Britannia from the Spade Empire! And why is she in a rush, anyway?! 

I looked at my watch and it just shook. I stood up and took my bag where my extra clothes were. I was about to leave when I heard the voice of my mother again.

'' And where do you think you’re going? You really have no respect! '' She shouted. I blinked and faced them with their mother. I saw Katrina roll her eyes at me.

Bitch.

I sighed and looked at my mother who was already blushing with anger. What did I do this time?

"I told you to give up painting for your sister!" She shouted. Ahh, That's why when I just entered, it immediately rattled in front of me.

After 5 months of not going home, I just went home to get my other belongings. I live in a dormitory since I also don't want to be here because of my sister and my mother.

'' Mom, I did okay? Don't worry, the exhibit will accept your child's painting. '' I said lazily and took my bag.

She looks so frustrated as she stays there. I just shrugged and continued to fix my things. 

I don’t know why she is so loud, it’s so early for her to be like that.

And also, I don’t paint anymore. I don’t do that anymore because of her daughter. I gave it up just so she could shine as mother wanted.

I saw my driver waiting for me at the door. It bent down a bit and I handed him my bag. I was about to leave when I heard my mother's voice again.

'' I am still your mother and you must follow me. '' I turned to her and saw Kathrina walking upstairs.

I shook my head and smiled bitterly. ' '' Did you treat me like your child? '' It was quiet so I gasped.

I walked out and got in the car. I looked at my butler who was worried to look at me.

"Would you like me to call Feline Ma´am?" I just shook my head. It’s not the right time to disturb her. Feline had to do something which is my orders and I might even bother her.

"I asked her to do something, let's just go straight to school." He nodded and started the car.

I sighed and opened the book to at least review. I have been asleep for almost two days because we have an exam in Physics.

It is my last year in Medical School this year and we just started last month. I am so excited to finish the course. 

Who doesn't? and at the end of the school year, I will be a resident doctor.

Suddenly my cell phone rang and I saw it was Ashley calling me. I answered it and he immediately greeted me with his nose.

'' Where are you women ?! '' he shouted. I was shaken.

'' I just got dressed Ashley, I’ll be there in an-hour.. '' I said and put the book back in my bag.

‘’Gosh, Alright! Just hurry up and your baby is here and it annoys me! '' I shook my head and laughed.

Maybe he is having tantrums again, So he finally woke up huh? I had to leave early since the travel time is an hour and a half depending on traffic. 

'' Why didn't you answer his call ?! '' I can hear his voice at the back, he is really mad and acting like a child.

’’ Let me talk to him. '' I just said.

For a few seconds, I heard Ashley's voice and her voice.

'' Amore. '' It whispered. '' Amore. '' He answered.

"I miss you.” I smiled at his clinginess, who would think that a person like him is so clingy when he’s alone with me?

'' I know, But you are not here to cook for me. '' ‘'Childish!'' I heard Ashley say. I heard him chuckled.

'' So you didn't eat? '' '' No. '' It answered so I rubbed my head.

He is really like this, He does not eat if I do not prepare his food so sometimes he goes hungry because of his stubbornness.

'' Itzan, I am near. Let's meet okay? '' I said and did not wait for his answer and went down.

The trip is easy because there are not many cars and there is no traffic today in Davao. I saw the gates of the dorm so I prepared my things.

As we approached I saw a figure of a man and I already knew who it was and when I got close I saw that he was waiting there.

‘'He is waiting for you like a child, Madame. '' My butler said and I just laughed.

‘'He is so childish. ’' I just shook my head ''He just loves you so much mam. ‘' my butler commented. I just smiled at that statement, he is right.

I got out of the car and he immediately greeted me with a hug.

'' I missed you. '' He whispered. I walked away from him a little and sighed.

'' We met yesterday in Itzan. '' I said just shook my heed it and took the bag were the clothes I took.

‘’But you left so early that I woke up without you beside me.’’ I caressed his hair and he closed his eyes. He looks so tired after a week of exams.

‘’Now, let’s eat okay and rest again.’’ He nodded like a baby.

'' Oh, Amanda! If you only knew! My head hurts there with your baby! '' Ashley said who was also here.

'' Are you? Isn't Izhan like this too? '' It glared at me. '' We are not! And I will never shoot that man! Maybe he has AIDS! '' He said and marched away.

'' Bitter. '' I whispered. I felt Itzan's hands on my waist.

I looked at Itzan who's looking at me and he kissed my cheeks. I frowned when I remembered.

'' You haven't eaten yet. '' He just smiled and I was stunned. 

'' Then cook for me. '' I glared at him. '' Please? '' It still pouts.

I just nodded and told him to go to the dorm first and I will follow because I have more to say to him which he immediately obeyed.

'' Butler. '' I called him and he gave me a red envelope.

'' Feline gave it to me yesterday. He said to give it to you when you arrive here in the dormitory. So no one will know. '' He said and I nodded.

'' Thank you. Just tell her to be careful. '' He nodded and got in the car.

I followed it until he left, I sighed and rolled my eyes. There are a few students here at the entrance and talking. There is also a garden on the side and benches. You can also see a fountain in the middle.

I opened the envelope and I saw Feline's letter. 

'You must do it soon.'
