CHAPTER 9

‘’Ashley! Amanda!’’ We looked at someone who called us. I smiled as he ran towards us and Ashley immediately grabbed his neck.

''Alais! Oh god, I missed you! '' Ashley tweaks her older brother’s ears and Alais just laughs so I frown.

We are at Base Naval de Rota now. A military base in the Spade Empire, it was discussed that we would first travel to Spade Empire to get to know the rest of us. Then we will go with the rest of the Spade Army.

But we were surprised when Alais came here. He also found out the plans and immediately went there, he was just near the Centre of the Spade Empire so he got there quickly. 

We were already in the waiting area of ​​the military base, we were just waiting for their sign to board the Plane.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, hoping to see him but I just dropped my shoulder when I saw even his shadow could not be seen.

'' Are you Ms. Buenavista? '' I stood up to call me from behind.

I saw a tall man standing so mighty with two soldiers behind it. I swallowed and nodded.

'' I am Cyrus. The supreme command of the Spade Military. They told me that you are the head doctor? '' I swallowed because of the man in front of me!

I knew Ashley was staring and stopping and just staring at me.. What should I do now?

Oh holy macaroons! This man is the current King Regent of the Spade Empire! I swallowed but was also thankful that he did not recognize me.. Or so I thought?.

'' I am sir. '' I bent down a little and he held out his hand which I accepted.

'' As the Supreme Command and as hereby requested by the Casa de Rodriguez, I will send out the majority of my men to protect and also help you there. and, I will assign Captain Rodriguez to be the leader. '' He said with a hard English smile.

I looked behind him and saw Izhan and Itzan walking towards us. I swallowed and avoided looking because the surroundings seemed to heat up suddenly?

'' Sir. '' I heard them say at the same time and I also saw it salute.

'' oh lalaaa.., They look…. Hot? '' I looked at Ashley who was next to me and smiled at me. I stared at it and turned his gaze to the soldiers talking.

'' They're so handsome Amanda! '' Dianne said next to me and I heard Zion growl.

'' I trust you, Captain. Please, Come back safely, I can’t lose another great soldier.'' said the Supreme Commander.

They nodded and greeted each other. The Commander has left so all that is left is us.

We are in the office here in the waiting room while the others are on the other side.

I saw Izhan smirking at Ashley and I also heard the witch giggle so I frowned. The toy!

'' Tell the others outside to get ready. We are leaving in 2 '' Itzan said coldly and followed by a man he did not know.

'' Izhan, Itzan. '' Alais said and approached the two.

Izhan laughed and jokingly punched Alais. I remembered those days, We were troops then and it was fun to see the three monkeys who are still friends.

'' You are a Captain now huh Itzan? '' Alais said, smiling and looking at him. 

'' I thought you would not accept that? Damn! '' Alais laughed at what he said.

I secretly smiled and looked at Itzan. I was shaken when I remembered how disgusted he was with the idea of ​​joining the Spade Military.

'' Are you serious you don't want to? '' I asked Itzan. We are now at a bar here in Bilbao and eating sandwiches.

It nodded, I sighed. It's really hard to convince him to.

''Bilbao is so beautiful, isn't it? '' He said, I looked in front of us and we saw a big statue of a puppy made with flowers.

"Indeed, It is also so peaceful here," I told him. I heard the camera click and I saw him taking pictures. I was just shaken.

'' You want to live here? '' I nodded at what he said. '' Yes, It is so beautiful and so peaceful itzan. I love it here. ''

"You know, we can live here in the future." He said and I looked at him.

My eyebrows rose. "Are you sure we're still late?" I sipped my juice and raised an eyebrow.

"If I have to get you pregnant I will Amanda." I stared at what he said. I jokingly hit his head and he just held it out and kissed my wrist.

'' But, what if we'll fall out of love? What if you´ll find someone and you make a mistake that I am the one you chose? '' I told him. I saw him touch his jaw and looked at me badly.

I smiled and just made it cute. Oops! It's still bad to be angry.

''That won't happen to us Amanda, I am sure that you'll be my dead end. '' He said.

I remember something we talked about earlier in the car.

'' About the Army Itzan. '' '' Please don't. '' He looked at me and smiled. I was pissed.

"But that's also for you Itzan, At least you joined the Army like your parents wanted to." I said. 

He told me about his offer to join the Army which is the Spade Elite Army. I heard that his brother Izhan is already in training to become an official soldier.

'' Then tell me, Why don't you? '' It stopped eating and looked at me. Again, for a billion times, I was mesmerized by his eyes.

'' Because I can't leave you. '' He calmed me down.

I felt my heart pump so fast and my cheeks burning. I averted my eyes and held back a smile.

I looked at him still eating. I shook. '' Cheesy. '' I was deaf and I heard him chuckled.

He held my hand tightly and I looked at him. These are the moments that I will treasure the most. These moments where I can stare at his ocean-like eyes and just feel each other's presence.

'' Even if you leave me Itzan. It is okay because it is also for you. '' I said kindly and kissed his hands. He sighed and shook his head.

"I won't and I can't leave you." He simply said and averted his eyes when I was about to speak.

I shook and nodded. I saw his jaw clenched and his thumb moving around my hand. I secretly smiled and sat down next to him.

I hugged him and kissed his cheeks. I saw how his cheeks burned and I laughed.

'' You really know how to take down my wall, don't you? '' I just shrugged because of what he said.

'' It is because I love you. '' I whispered and it turned to me.

'' And I love you more, I won't leave you. '' He said and kissed me.

I sighed because of how I love his presence, How I love his kisses, his hugs, his voice. And I hate myself for what I did to him.

But I can’t erase what I did in the past. 

'' Let's go, Amanda? '' Ashley said next to me. I saw Itzan looking at me with a blank expression. I averted my eyes and followed Ashley.

'' Goodbye Girls, take care. '' Alais smiled as he waved. '' Take care Brother! '' Ashley shouted and we walked towards the Plane.

I sat by the window and next to Ashley. I fastened my seatbelt even though I could feel my nervousness.

I looked around and I saw everyone's talking with each other. We heard a noise and I saw that the doors are now closed.

'' Welcome Ladies and Gents. I suppose that everyone is now ready. '' We heard Izhan's voice so I looked at Ashley who was smiling.

'' I didn't know that he's a pilot? '' I asked Ashley. She just giggled so I smirked

It turned to me. '' What? '' '' You are really flirty. '' I shook as he just laughed.

Also a few minutes after the take-off, we were stable in the air. Some are sleeping, some are talking with each other and some are reading kinds of stuff.

Next to me is Ashley who is on her cellphone and in front of us are Dianne and Jenny, one of our close Nurses.

I felt as if someone was watching our behaviour and I saw a man looking at our side. I averted my eyes and sat up. I touched Ashley who looked at me.

'' Did father call you or something? '' I asked. He thought about it and then nodded.

Someone took a piece of paper from his pocket. '' Some guy talked to me and told me to give that to you. '' Ashley said.

I looked over at the Man and he nodded. I sighed and looked everywhere.

I also saw a man looking at our side and he avoided my gaze when I looked at him. I sighed and sat up.

'' His men are here. '' I whispered to Ashley so no one could hear. Ashley was about to turn around when I stopped her. I shook my head and looked at the paper.

'The moment you step off the plane, a guy with a green cap will be waiting for you. We have to talk, my daughter. About you, your mother, Katrina, The Rodriguez, everything. Be careful Mi Princesa. ''
