CHAPTER 4

''The bullet was successfully removed. He just needs to rest and stay here for a few weeks to observe him more If there are any complications in his lungs. '' I smiled and they bid their thank you's entered the room.

I sighed and looked at my watch. It's already three in the afternoon and I haven't had my lunch. I picked up the clipboard and then went to my office to eat lunch while revising some records.

When I entered, I immediately saw Ashley and Dianne eating. Zion is also here while playing on his mobile phone.

I was shaken and put my coat on the chair and took my food in my bag and sat down next to Ashley then ate my food like a maniac.

'' How's the surgery, Amanda? '' Dianne asked. I gulped down some water and looked at them.

'' It was successful. '' They nodded and she continued to eat.

'' Your mother called. '' Ashley said, suddenly stopping me. I saw Dianne also stopped from eating and Zion suddenly looked at us.

'' Oh my god! '' '' Let go of her Amanda! '' I heard Zion and Dianne gasped but I tightened my grip on Ashley's arm even more.

"Stay away Zion!" I shouted as it approached.

'' Your….father, Once we call him, he will take that chance to take you back to the organization. You don't want that, don’t you? '' She said and stepped on my foot, she blocked my attacks and hit a sensitive spot on my knee so I knelt down and I groaned.

Ashley put her cellphone on the table. She smirked so we laughed.

Dianne shook her head and Zion was just “what on earth.”.

Zion checked my knee and shaking it looked at Ashley and me.

'' I'm gonna get some drinks and some ice packs. '' Dianne said and rushed out.

'' You are a..ugh..Ashley! How can I play badminton now ?! '' I shouted at her and she just laughed.

I was about to get up when Zion stopped me. '' Come on Amanda, Your ankles are swelling! As well as you Ashley! '' He shouted and he took a medical kit nearby and he started to treat our bruises.

'' It's not bad, you can still walk but you'll still feel something, it's normal, Ashley hit the sensitive spot but you are here now and look! Both of you are laughing even though you almost killed earlier! '' We laughed even more at what Zion said.

Dianne went out to buy us some drinks and also to get some packs of ice for Ashley's arm. I looked at Ashley who reached for her cellphone.

I just shook my head and searched the contacts for its name. When I saw it. I smiled and smirked.

I sighed and pressed the call sign. I looked at Ashley while it was still ringing.

I sighed and laid the records of my patients on the table. I looked around and I saw that the sun was gone and a full moon was there again. Like yesterday.

Suddenly I caught sight of a black suitcase that Ashley had brought earlier an hour after I had talked to my father. I swallowed and approached where it was.

I held it and I smiled. It's been years since the last time I touched this suitcase. I opened it and I saw my favorite g*n perfectly polished and it looked like it was brand new. There were also bullets and his parts, also I saw some weird little bottles like bullets too.

I just shook my head and held the g*n. I closed my eyes as again I felt it.

I opened my eyes and put it back in the case and closed it. I kept it hidden so no one could see.

I approached the table and sat down. I opened the folder that contains all the things I have to do and some papers to sign. It means that I am really going back.

Suddenly the door opened and I saw one of the guards that he sent here. It bowed to me and I just raised my hand.

'' What is it? '' I asked 

"She is here Milady." He said.

"Let her in." He bent down again and then left.

I gulped and tried to calm myself, remembering my father's words earlier.

"You must be calm and stop yourself from doing something. She needs you and we need her to seek the true answers."

I sat down and then a woman entered wearing a blue dress with a Chanel handbag. She removed her wayfarer and stared at me with her almond eyes which I inherited from her.

'' Mom. '' I said. She smiled and sat down in front of me. She put her bag on the table and I followed her gaze. I smiled even if the inside of me wanted to smack her head off.

'' How are you, my daughter? '' She said smiling, but her eyes said otherwise. It was dangerous and cautious. Like me, I know her guards are up and that I might do something to her.

I smirked and leaned on my chair. '' I am fine mom, How's Barcelona? Is it boring that you decided to come back here, to Amatourum? '' I asked.

'' Why not offer me first a cup of coffee or tea? '' She said with a demanding tone. I shrugged and stood up. I heated the kettle and returned to the chair while waiting for it to boil.

'' Again Mama, What is it that you need? You told me before that you don't want to see this face of mine right? '' I said while smirking.

I saw how her eyes changed and she was obviously bored with what I said. 

'' I need you to sign the papers. I need you to sign it so that I can have all the Hacienda. '' She said with a demanding voice and a folder was taken out of her bag. It is small so it fits well.

I suddenly remembered what my father told me to do. Now she's showing her true face to me. Again
