Doctor's office

I got to the hospital on time due to it being mid-day and less traffic, I had to wait though to see the doctor.

“Mr A Armani”

“That would be my mam” I rushed to get up I was so weak.

Ohh” she blushed

Right, I hurried to the white door hastily knocking twice before rushing inside.

Dr Owen Green, an alpha is a close friend and one of the few I gained when my little sister was hospitalized.

“Hey you” she smiled

I gave her a weak smile taking my seat on the bed in her office.

Why did you fix an appointment?

“I t...think I'm s..sick i...”

I started coughing holding onto my chest then I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.

Green rushed to my side using a paper towel to wipe my mouth, I sighed resting my head on her shoulders.

“Since when,” she asked

“Three days ago” I lied or else she’d get worried.

“I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier” I added “I need to check myself and return to work as soon as possible” I muttered

She sighed and gently laid me down.

Green had a few tests carried out while I rested in the secret room in her office, she attended to other patients while I waited for my result.

Alexandro that name and the man bearing it makes me sometimes want to just vanish from the face of the earth.

I slowly closed my eyes and that night still hunt my dreams as always.

Sir, I think you should go to bed, you're not in your right senses…I tried running out before anything stupid could happen again…only to be grabbed and dropped on something soft his bed…

I stared at his dilated eyes.

Jimmy would kill me if he finds out…I whisper screamed

He froze then his eyes began changing colours from brown to gold…

No...noo I screamed I felt so weak and helpless I wanted to wake up from this nightmare but I felt like so many things were weighing me down, then I felt something cold passing through my insides and I relaxed.

I woke up shooting up from the bed only for someone to press me down...I struggled

“It's alright, it's alright sweetie it was just a dream” she whispered placing my head on her chest and passing her fingers through my hair.

I burst into tears

“Why me green, why,” I asked her

“Things happen honey you'd be fine” she replied kissing my head.

I sighed and nodded

Sitting up I collected the towel she handed to me wiping my tears.

“So how did it go,” I asked

She sighed and I panicked

“Is… is it bad”…I asked

“Well it depends, I have good news and very disturbing news which one do you want to hear first,” she said

“The disturbing news first please” I replied

“ Well when the test result came back we noticed that your use of excess suppressants and shots is messing with your system that’s why lately it’s not been working and you've been feeling sick” she sighed

“ Armani you need to stop taking these things and speak to your mate, maybe...”

“No” I cut her off

“ I'm not to do anything stupid or foolish so just rule that out, okay” I mumbled.

“Arm...”

“No. I cut her off again “he's married already green, please just tell me the good news already”

I hoped they were a cure for all my sicknesses.

“ you are 6 weeks pregnant “ she announced with a beam on her face.

I stared at her straight into her eyeball then smiled “ be serious green, now's not the time to play, is the cure or something, stop messing I around “ I whined

“ I'm serious,” she said with a sigh

“ It's good news Armani” she added

“What...no that is supposed to be the bad news are you crazy and unmated omega pregnant what would people say” I screamed at her.

“Forget about what people say and be happy for once now you have someone for yourself after your sister's death” she shouted at me back

I winced and whispered trying to hide from green has never used her alpha voice on me before.

Yes, my sister died after everything, but she still left me alone in this wicked and cruel world.

“I'm sorry Armani for shouting at you like that but you need to do something because you know we can't take out that baby now and you need to stop with those things you've been consuming it's doing damage to your womb and it's not healthy for you or your baby, so it's either you tell your mate or you resign and go far away from here,” she said then kissed my head standing up

I was shocked and silently hoped this was just a dream.

“These are your vitamins and supplements, call me when you're ready for an appointment for your baby,” she said.

“I'd check you out while, you think, you can leave when you're ready” she added as she turned around and left me alone to my thought.

I rose silently from the bed taking my things with me, I need to be somewhere more comfortable to think, so I went home.
