"It's just that the hotel is throwing a huge New Year's Eve party tomorrow night and I won't have a lot of time," Ro explained.
She and Winston were seated at one of the corner tables in the hotel dining room. An employee and a guest eating lunch together. Ro wasn't sure if this was the kind of thing that would be deeply frowned upon by Alicia. She was pretty sure Cooper was fine with it, since he'd insisted that she make plans with Winston while they were all choosing his tuxedo in his office earlier. Her new boss had even gone so far as to send them a complimentary bottle of wine during their meal.
"Enjoy lunch, Coop," Winston had read the note that came with the bottle out loud. Then he raised one eyebrow, "Coop?"
