"I found you!" Winston declared, both joy and relief on his face.
"Winston? What are you doing here?" Ro stepped away from her small group to meet him. Astonished at the sight of him.
"I'm on vacation!" He opened his arms as if embracing the entire ocean sunrise moment. He laughed at her surprised expression, put his hands on her shoulders and then pulled her into a hug.
She hugged him back. Still in shock, but happy to see him. She was always happy to see Winston.
He squeezed her closer than any of the friendly hugs they'd shared at work. Longer too.
"I don't understand," she said into his shoulder.
He pulled away and held her at arms length, "I took a month off!"

"But...you don't go on vacations," was all she could think to say.
