Toya’s bangs fell down to cover liquid golden eyes as he stared at the ground. He hadn’t even gotten to tell her he was sorry or kiss her again to change her mind. He could change her mind if he controlled the demon within him… he just knew it. He squared his shoulders looking in the direction Kotaro’s scent had vanished in.
“You don’t have to run from me Kyoko.” The ends of Toya’s hair lifted as translucent silver wings sprang from his back. “I just wanted to keep you.”
Kyou was just returning when he heard Toya roar Kyoko's name. Silently landing beside his agitated brother, he took a quick glance around the area, taking in all sights and scents. With lethal grace, he reached one arm out and lifted Toya quickly into the air by his neck.
