Kyoko was now sitting up silently crying and Toya was on his way to her. Kyou frowned wondering if Toya was also really there within the dream. Did the dream master have the power to pull them all in to watch the unraveling, or were Toya and Kyoko so close that his brother had somehow known she was in danger. Or worse yet… was both dream and reality becoming the truth.
Miles away, Hyakuhei lay silent, having just awakened. He could feel every nerve in his body as if it had a life of its own and he was suddenly calmer then he’d been in centuries. He had seen it in her eyes… even after the spell had been disrupted. For an instant… he’d seen her true feelings.
