“Serves you right!” He yelled hearing it howl in pain.
Kaen roared as one of the snakelike extensions wrapped around his throat causing a thin line of blood to instantly appear. As the dragon was thrashed about, Kamui was knocked off his back, hitting the dirt with a bone-jarring thud.
Rising up on his hands and knees, Kamui noticed the blood on his friend and something within him snapped. Reaching out his hand, he grabbed the offending thing and screamed. His eyes turned solid black as the wind rushed up around him adding to the sound. In the next instance, a rain of bloody chunks blew outward as the appendage burst.
Kamui swayed as his power rushed back into him knocking him out. Kaen caught him before he hit the ground.
