    Sam was heavily breathing while rushing towards the training grounds. He saw Sersi at the far end of the field. There were swords flailing and clashing, magic chants, arrows flying and all sorts of magical, non-magical and hand to hand combat trainings going on. There were of magical and non-magical creatures of all sorts of kinds. Sam saw elves, centaurs, fawns, dwarves, nymphs, fairies, and other beings at the training grounds.      As Sam was almost near towards Sersi, he suddenly bumped into someone and fell down. "I am so-", Sam got cut off because he was staring at the most beautiful being in Hydraterra. "Are you all right? I was in a hurry and I didn't mean to bump into you.", the elf guy offered his hand to Sam. "I-it's okay. I'm fine actually. I was actually in a hurry too. I'm late for my first day of training.", Sam replied flustered.         The elf guy was wearing a light purple schemed clothes and was adorned with golden accents on his clothes. He seems kind of important, Sam thought. He was a bit taller than Sam and he has a light and bright skin like it was glowing in the sun's ray. And he has beautiful shiny grey hair and the length was below his chest.      "I'm Illaie and I'm an elven warrior mage. By the looks of you, you don't seem to be from around here, am I right?", Illaie said. "My name's Sam and yeah you guessed right. I'm not from here and I'm just a normal human being and still figuring out what I'm actually here for.", Sam said while rolling his eyes in the end. "Well, whatever you're here for is something more important than I can think off.", Illaie said then chuckled in a very silky yet husky and melodic laugh.          "Yeah, I guess. They said I'm the savior of this world in which I don't even have any powers or skills to do so.", Sam said shrugging. "So I am in the presence of the Chosen One and I knocked him over on his first day of training.", Illaie said and laughed embarrassedly. Sam noticed that Illaie was not like the others that when they meet him they treat him like some royalty or God. "No, it's okay. I'm fine anyways. Hahaha.", Sam laughed comfortably.      "Well then, I should get going and maybe you should too.", Illaie said. "Well yeah, I should my trainer's going to kill me for being late. Hahaha", Sam laughed uncomfortably while remembering Sersi's early warning and Sam gulped at the thought of that. "Don't worry Sam, you'll be all right.", Illaie said and started to walk away. "How do you know about that?", Sam answered sounded more nervous. Illaie just laughed back teasingly and said "You'll be alright. Trust me", and with that Illaie waved and was continuing to walk away.          "Well, okay then.", Sam said and started walking towards Sersi who was actually looking over Sam, one hand on her waist. Sam gulped and prepared himself. Sersi was eying Sam in a very scary way and suddenly she smirked. "You're right on time.", Sersi said.      "Wait? What? I thought I was late? And I was so long in Luminae's garden.", Sam said confused. "Well, let's just say that the mistress has helped you with that.", Sersi said and she turned around started to walk. "Come along freshling.", Sersi said. "Wait. How?", Sam said followring her steps. "Let's just say that the mistress slowed or somehow stopped time during you little talk with her.", Sersi doesn't seem to mind of the turn of events.            Sam wasn't able to talk back anymore because he was too shocked of what Luminae's true power is and the thought of it kind of scares him a bit. Sam followed Sersi whatever they were going and Sam noticed that they were getting far from the training grounds. "Uhmmm... where are we going Sersi?", Sam asked. Sersi looked back to Sam, smiled and said "You'll know when we get there". Sam was about to open his mouth but stopped himself from asking anymore questions.     Sam followed Sersi on a grassy field and he saw up ahead a tower of some sort. "Welcome to my research tower.", Sersi turned around and looked back at Sam who almost bumped into Sersi when she suddenly stopped and turned to Sam. "Sorry.", muttered under his breath. "This is where I study and research all sorts of magic. Today I am going to test your magic power and your magical affinities.", Sersi then raised her hand and her hand glowed and suddenly she held a crystal ball of some sort in her right hand. "This is a magic affinity crystal ball, it will help us determine your magical capacities and affinities. Now, watch carefully.", Sersi held the crystal ball in both hands and closed her eyes. Suddenly the crystal ball started to glow fiercely. First, it was bright red, then blue then green and violet and then the crystal ball stopped glowing. 

    "What does that mean?", Sam asked. "The stronger the glow the stronger your control over the elements and each color represents the magical elements. In my case, the colors glowed brightly meaning I have a very strong control over the elements which is red for fire, green for nature and violet for ethereal."

    "How do I do it? I don't even know if I have magical powers, I was never born with one." Sam said looking confused. "In your world, normally there is magic but your kind lost the ability to do magic and has long been lost due to the rise of technological advancement. In this world magic still stayed because we value the use of magic and treat magic as being who we are as magical beings." Sersi said looking blankly at the crystal ball.

    "So it means, that in this world I can be able to access my magical abilities right?", Sam looked at Sersi questioningly. "Well, you as the Chosen One, usually you would be able to access your magic easily. And to tell you bluntly you possess magical power that rivals the Elemental Guardians combined." Sersi smiled teasingly at Sam. "That is why the prophecy says 'One is chosen to save us or destroy us all'.'' Sersi face went dark. 

    "What does that mean? ", Sam's heart started to pound hearing the phrase. Sersi looked away, "You will find out soon." Sersi looked down. "For now, let's just see what you got" Sersi handed Sam the crystal ball. "How do I d this thing?", Sam observed the crystal ball in his hands. 

    "You need to relax, and clear your mind. Inhale and exhale, imagine taking in different  colors of energy inside your body, like a rainbow and then the magic will happen." Sersi said while circling Sam. 

    Sam did what Sersi told him to do. He relaxed, closed his eyes and cleared his mind. He inhaled and exhaled and imagined different colors of energy whenever he inhales. He could feel his body vibrating somehow and and a tingling sensation coming from his chest but he continued. Suddenly the crystal ball started to glow brightly and it was brighter and stronger than Sersi's. It was as if the light was throbbbing like a heart. First, it was throbbingly glowing red, then it was orange, and then it was green, and then blue, and then violet and white and then it went black. It was so black that Sersi stopped and got shocked about pitch black color. The crystal ball was then vibrating so intense that Sam opened his eyes and  was shocked about the dark glow in the crystal ball. 

    The vibration grew stronger and stronger. Sam's eyes grew large with fear and confusion. Sam couldn't let the crystal ball go. It was as if his hands were super glued to the crystal ball. The crystal ball finally vibrated so hard the crystal ball cracked and exploded. There was a burst of a beautiful rainbow colored light and Sam and Sersi were thrown back because of the impact that was unleashed by the crystal ball. Sam and Sersi coughed and wiped away the dust and debris that got scattered around and that was on their clothes. Thankfully, they were not hurt badly, only a few scratch and bruises. 

    "What was that?", Sam asked finally getting up. " That kiddo shows how much magical power you possess and you may have more power that I expected you to have." Sersi finally said while looking at the magic lab that looks like got hit by a storm.
