A New World & a Friendly Encounter

    Sam felt a warm bright light on his face. At first he thought he was in heaven but it was too bright and too warm to be still in heaven. He slowly opened his eyes and saw a canopy of trees above him and that a ray of light shown upon his face. Sam sat up and studied his surroundings. he wasn't at the beach anymore. He was in some kind of forest but the trees and small insects doesn't seem familiar to him nor does it seem like from earth. He stood up and he glanced at himself, he was still wearing his sweater and sweat pants and shoes. "Where am I?", he asked out loud. 

    He looked around again and observed that the trees seem kind of old and ancient and the flowers growing from the ground seemed alive and were swaying even without the presence of the wind. And he soon realized that he woke up at a circular stone that has engravings with characters he does not seem to understand at first, they were arranged in a circle around where he woke up. He realized that the trees around him have different colors and textures as well. There were six trees around him, with trunks having red, orange, green, blue, violet and a white one. With each colored trunk they have leaves that have different shades of the corresponding color from their trunks. Like how the red trunk have leaves with shades of pink , red, orange and yellow, while the orange has shades of orange, red, brown, and yellow while the green has different shades of green, slightly blue and and yellow, while the blue one has some shades of green, blue, and violet. while the black has grey and black shades while the white has grey and white but they black and white has one common shade which is grey, just like the other trees with their leaves. Sam does not know what these trees are but they sure are emanating a sense of aura and power. 

    He felt the ground humming and he looked down to see the symbols were glowing around him. Sam stared until the glowing faded and he was shocked. It read "He who has been summoned here, is the chosen one, a hero to save all or a destroyer to all.", it read. Sam was confused about the writings. "Where the freaking am I?!", he exclaimed out loud with frustration and confusion in his voice.    

    "Welcome, Chosen one", a beautiful voice called out. Sam spun around at the white tree and there stood a beautiful white lady. She was clad in a white glorious long gown and she has glorious shining white hair. Her face and skin was pale and her chin was kinda sharp and her eyes are greyish white but was kinda glowing. She was also adorned with golden bracelets and was wearing a high crown of gold on her head. Her golden bracelets were connected with her fabric and she looked liked she was a bird because when she spread her arms wide it seemed like wings made of fabric. She looked like she was some kind of queen or something. She was so majestic and graceful at the same time. She looks so divine and the thing that got Sam out of words is that she was floating like she was some kind of ghost. But she was far from being a ghost because she was like a goddess. There was this bright white aura emanating from all around her body. 

    "Are you a g-ghost? ", Sam stammered and gulped at the thought. The lady laughed softly and she floated forward towards Sam. "I am Luminae, guardian of the Tree of Life and Light, you have been summoned here because our world is at risk from going out of existence and only you, can save us... or maybe destroy us all as well." she said not even blinking as she said to me in a sweet but still menacing voice in the end. 

    “Me? Why me? I don’t understand?”, Sam asked Luminae, with confusion on his face. “It was you who was summoned by our Shrine Priestess,”, Luminae gestured at her left side, and appeared an elven-maiden from the shadows. She was wearing a green dress with long dangling sleeves with golden accents on the tips of her clothes. Her hair was brightly colored red from the top and towards the middle of the length of her hair was orange and bright yellow at the tips. It was as if her hair was like flaming when the sunray hits its at an angle. Her face has a serious expression and she looks kinda mysterious. She has a pointy chin and plump cheeks. Her lips where naturally glowing pink, she has a thin upper lip and plumper lower lip. She also has freckles on her face but she was beautiful.  What Sam then noticed was her eyes where bright almond, and you can see that she was mysterious and yet holds some kind of charisma that you can’t take your eyes off her. Sam couldn’t help but gawk at her even though he was not much interested in women. Sam snapped himself out of it and looked down kind of embarrassed. She was also wearing a necklace with 6 colored gemstones adorned in a round pendant and the middle one was a bigger gem stone which gave off a rainbow shine or glimmer at any angle. 

“I am Sersi, the Shrine Priestess and I summoned you here but I did not choose you to be summoned.” Sersi answered Sam. “What?! Sorry but I don’t understand what you said.", Sam said feeling more confused. “Meaning, I was the one who did the summoning spell and the one who chose you is not something that you would understand.” Sersi answered and was smiling apologetically. “Really?! Then try me”, Sam said while rolling his eyes and crossed his arms.

“Forgive me Mistress Luminae, I might have made a terrible mistake with the spell, he might not be the One.” Sersi glanced and said to Lumina without moving her lips. “He, is the One, Sersi, it would have not chosen him if he was not the One”, Luminae answered calmly without moving her lips as well. “Hello? What is IT that you’re both talking about? Do you realize I can hear both of you talking.” Sam said boringly. Luminar and Sersi looked at each other surprised.

“That something that we are talking about, is something that you people on earth call, magic, but for us it is the maker of life and death itself here our world. IT chose you that is why you are here.” Luminae smiled and it almost made Sam’s heart sank of her beauty. “Magic is the one thing that is keeping all of us here in our world alive and it is one thing that made up our existence here." Luminae gestured around her. "But there is something that we do not comprehend that can erase the existence of our world's magic." Luminae looked at Sam with a very serious expression. "We call this the anti-magic, the Void, because as far we all know here is that this anti-magic power feeds on both our world's darkness, meaning the negative and dark emotions that comes from our people and your people. These feeds the Void  and grows much stronger each day even as we speak." She looked at Sam, came up closer and cuffed his faced in her warm and delicate hands and kissed Sam's forehead. 

    Sam suddenly gasped as visions bombarded inside his head and saw that there was this dark figure, and this figure was human in form but was also not at the same time. It was a female figure surrounded by darkness but she was emitting dark and violet flames that turns to red and magenta all around her. Her facial features seemed familiar and yet he could not place of who she was. She had violet pupils and black sclera and yet Sam saw something familiar with her but couldn't understand who or what she really was. She was tied down in black chains from her wrist raising her upward and she was standing, struggling and screaming in pain. She has dark black hair and she has two horns from her forehead pointing backwards. She was dressed in a long black gown and she had black tattoos all over her body which was glowing dark violet from time to time like it was blinking. From behind the female figure, there were a pair of  big violet eyes which was looking back at Sam. Sam could hear that it was laughing sinisterly. "I will end this world and yours boy and not even you could stop me.", the dark figure with dark with the dark violet eyes said in a terrifying loud voice and it was echoing inside his head. The laugh got louder and louder until he felt his brain felt like it was going to explode. 

    "Arrrghhhh....!!!" Sam screamed while he knelt down to the floor heavily breathing. Luminae who was cuffing Sam's face finally let go and she too felt weak and groggy. "Mistress" Sersi helped Luminae kept her balance because she almost fell down and she was no longer floating. She lost her glowing aura for a moment and was trying to collect her self from the exhaustion. "I am fine Sersi, thank you" she replied in a weak but still beautiful voice. 

    Sam finally got a hold of himself and he said, "Who was that woman? She seemed in pain". Luminae and Sersi looked at each other as if they were not so sure how to answer back. "She was a human, like you, who was summoned here to help save our world a hundred years ago. But she was corrupted and consumed by the power of the Void." Sersi finally answered but she was looking away.    

    "The Void, is the dark dimension of the anti-magic where darkness all began", Luminae finally floating and was already glowing with her aura like she used to. "How will I save this world? I don't even know if I could do it", Sam looked down. "I-... I'm a Nobody.", he continued while tears was welling up from his eyes still looking down.

    "Child, you are not a nobody." Luminae held up Sam's chin and looked down at his eyes sincerely. "You can be someone whatever your hearts desire. You have the power to be someone who you want to be. It is in your hands to decide, you are the writer of your own story. You create how your life goes." Lumina smiled at Sam. Sam looked up at her eyes then suddenly hugged her so tight. 

    Sersi and Luminae looked at each other worried as if they were still hiding something from Sam. "You will have some rest and you will need to learn everything that you need to learn from Sersi. She is one of the greatest mages here in the world." Luminae said softly. She began to hum and caressed Sam's face softly. "Rest for now child. Rest. Rest and you will learn everything you need to know." Sam felt that he was slowly feeling a bit drowsy and his eyelids were getting heaving. But hearing Luminae soft voice and humming Sam succumbed to a heavy deep sleep.
