“Mr. Mewes, did you ever suspect that Ms. Moore was a victim of abuse?” Mick asked.
“Honestly. Kind of. She would have bruises on her arms. And sometimes when we would argue she would flinch as though she was scared I was going to hit her.”
“And did she ever tell you she was being abused?”
“No, she just said Leo had a tempter. She did pretty much everything to cover it up.” Callan said. “She would lie and say her bruises were from cheer.”
