Chapter 8: The Revelation Alessia's heart was racing as she tried to sit up again. What had happened? And what secrets had Alexander revealed? Elijah's eyes narrowed, his face tense with concern. "What did you do to her?" he growled at Alexander. Alexander smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I simply showed her the truth," he said. "The truth about her past, her family, and her destiny." Alessia's mind was reeling as she tried to remember what had happened. She had opened the box, and then...and then everything had gone black. "What did I see?" she asked Alexander, her voice shaking. Alexander's smile grew wider. "You saw your true nature," he said. "You saw that you are not just a human, but a werewolf." Alessia's heart was racing as she looked at Elijah. He was staring at her, his eyes filled with shock and confusion. "It's true," Alexander said, his voice low and urgent. "You are a werewolf, Alessia. And you have a crucial role to play in the supernatural world." Alessia felt like her whole world had been turned upside down. She was a werewolf? What did that even mean? Elijah's eyes locked onto hers, and Alessia saw a flicker of reassurance there. "We'll figure this out," he said. "Together." But as Alessia looked at Alexander, she couldn't shake the feeling that they w ere in grave danger.
