Chapter 10:The Hidden Pack
Alessia's mind was reeling as she tried to process the weight of Alexander's words. A leader? Her? What did it even mean?
Elijah's eyes locked onto hers, and Alessia saw a flicker of reassurance there. "We'll figure this out," he said. "Together."
Alexander nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "I knew you two would be perfect for this," he said. "Now, let's get started."
He led them to a hidden door deep in the safe house, and Alessia felt a thrill of excitement mixed with fear. What was behind the door?
As Alexander pushed the door open, Alessia saw a group of people waiting for them. They were all dressed in casual clothes, but there was something about them that seemed...different.
"Welcome to the pack," Alexander said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Alessia, this is your new family."
Alessia's heart was racing as she looked at the group. They were all staring at her, their eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.
