“Damn!” The sergeant cursed, as he fumbled with his gun. Seizing his chance, Pete leapt to his feet and smashed his fist into the soldier's face, causing him to fall to the ground. Jones, still holding the knife, moved towards Pete, but the thick protective suit slowed him down. Seeing what was happening, Josh hurled himself at the moving soldier and manhandled him down onto the road. “It seems things have taken a new turn,” he said, picking himself up. “What are we going to do with them?” asked Pete, rubbing his fist. The sergeant's jaw had turned out to be much harder than he had thought. He picked up the gun that had flown from the sergeant's hand as he fell. “Don't kill me.
