Chapter Three

Betty pov:

On my way back to my Hostel l met Caleb.

' Hii Betty ' Caleb said waving at me. l looked around. And smiled back l walked up to him.

' Great Job! ' l said smiling as l throw my arm around his neck.

' Anything for my sis.....' Someone pull him forcefully and smash his back hard against the wall. It was Luca. Luca held his neck tight Caleb stand no chance.

' Let go of him Luca ' l pleaded seeing how Caleb was struggling to breathe.

' l told you to stay Away from him ' Luca yelled angrily his grip still tight on Caleb neck.

' You are hurting him badly please let go ' l pleaded holding his arm. Luca throw him to the ground like he weighed nothing. Luca turn to me.

' l warned you to stay away from him, l will deal with you later ' He turned to Caleb who was still on the floor holding his throat.

" how dare you even touch her huh! " Luca asked moving closer to Caleb.

' Stop! He is my cousin ' l yelled. Luca stopped on his track. And turned to face me

' What f*****g cousin...' Luca asked.

' He is my cousin, If you look closerly you will see that we look much alike ' l said and he stared at Caleb closerly and back to me.

' Hmm! But why the families in class ' Luca asked.

' To see how jealous you can f*****g be ' l said. Luca pull me closer.

' lucky for him he still have both hands! That little act of yours could have cause him, his one arm ' Luca said. And l knew Luca wasn't't joking.

' Are you such a beast! ' l said trying to pull away but his grip was firm. Caleb left.

' A while ago when he held your shoulders you didn't struggle and now ' Luca said.

' let go! of me, l am not your toy ' l yelled.

' what can l ever do to make it up to you ' He asked.

' You don't need to do much, just tell me why you hate to see me happy ' l said staring at him.

' Don't ever say that! l love to see you happy but l want to be the reason for your smile, l don't want you smiling at anyone ' He said with all seriousness in his eyes.

' But you are the reason for my sadness ' l said.

' l know sorry it not enough! But you won't understand you just human ' Luca said. l cup his cheek raising his face up to meet my gaze.

' You underestimate me so much besides we are all human ' l said firmly.

' You won't understand ' Luca said and l withdrawal my hands and turn away from him. He wrapped his hands around my waist, resting his jar on my shoulder. He pull me closer.

' I can take it when anyone it angry at me but not you, ' Luca said. I held his hands.

' Do l mean that much to you ' l asked.

' You mean so much to me! l get so addicted to you! day after day, ' He said inhaling my scent. As his hands roam around my waist.

' You smell so sweet ' He whisper into my ears. As he bit my earlobe lightly. l shiver feeling his teeth on my ear.

' Stop! ' l said quickly and ran out before l loss control of myself.

Luca POV:

I sat at the roof-top. When l felt a present it was Mia.

' My Lord ' Mia said with a little bow.

' Stop it mia, You know Liam is your new King ' I said sipping a little from my glass.

Mia sat beside me.

' As for me you are still my Lord, And what troubles you, troubles me, You thinking about her' Mia asked. l smiled and turn to her.

' I love her! but l can't be with her ' l said sadly.

' My Lord! You lost your power but not a heart to love, And she loves you too but you keep pushing her away ' Mia said. l inhaled deeply.

' For now l can't protect her! And secondly she will freak out if she finds out l am a vampire, and thirdly, l just want her to be safe ' l said sincerely staring up to the sky.

' I understand my Lord ' mia said and l just nodded. We watch the stars together.

Betty Pov:

lt was late but l couldn't sleep l sneak out of the room. I decided to take a walk.

' It so cold out here ' l said rubbing my both palm against each other.

' Why are you out so late ' A voice said from behind. l could tell it was Luca even without turning. l turned to face him.

' I couldn't sleep so l came out to get some air '

l said staring at him. He has a messy hair, he wore a singlet and a jacket that was buttoned and a black short. l couldn't help but bit my lower lip.

' You like what you see ' He suddenly asked.

' ooh...shit.' l cursed quickly looked away.

' Your n*****s suit pretty well on this gown ' Luca said moving towards me. l opened my mouth in shock.

I slowly stare down at my dress. it was so transparent and my n*****s were doing any good to the situation. l quickly cover my chest with my arms. He smiled and pulled me closer.

' You don't need to be shy darling ' He said wrapping his one arm around my waist and the other cupping my neck. As he Lean closer kissing my neck l moan softly.

' Luca..' l moan trying to control myself but just couldn't.

' l love the way you say it ' He whisper with his breath aching on my skin.

' say it again ' He whisper kissing my bear neck down to the top of my nightwear.

' Luca..ahh..' l couldn't help but moan his name as l moved from my neck to devouring my lips. l wrapped my arms around his neck as his hand tighten on my waist. He pulled away from me. l frown.

' We shouldn't.....' l pulled him, by his collar.

' I should be be the one opposing not you ' l said smashing my lip against his .He chuckled against my lips, pulling me closer as he lifted me effortlessly my legs wrapped around his waist as he kissed me deeply. His hand tangled in my hair—kissing me back slowly and fully.

When we parted, breathless, his gaze was full of softness.

' Do you even know what you do to me, you have me right in your palm ' He said kissing my forehead—so long and tender—then rested his head against mine for a moment, just holding me there in his arms that felt like home.

' l love you Betty ' l blunt out l Lean back staring at his sincere eyes. l didn't know exactly what to say.

' I have always loved you Betty, l was just so scared that once you find out who l really am you leave.....' l place my single finger on his lip.

' I love you that what matters ' l said smiling at him.

' say it again ' He said smiling.

' l love you Luca ' l said and kissed his cheek.
