Andrew’s P.O.V.

    I knew everything about her. After we broke up and after I woke up through the nightmare, I tried to contact her again. When I found out that she went in Europe I reached on one of my friends to follow her to know that she’s safe. I put my friend follow her until I found out that she met someone and she married. Then I stopped following her. I never thought that she would suffer so much for me. I’m astonished that she taught to ride, to shoot and I’m so proud of her that she has her own club. She’s the best. 

„You know I’m proud of you, right?” I said smiling

„Really?”

„Yes. Can I tell you something?” I ask nervously

„Of course.”

„After I found that Lyla lied o me, I ask Daniel to follow you everywhere you go, just to be sure that you are safe. Daniel stopped following you when you married. All I knew was that you were happy in Europe, safe and you got in love with someone. I never knew exactly where were you, I didn’t want to disturb you or upset you.” I said looking to my lap.

„I know that and I knew that Daniel is looking after me for you.” She said smiling.

„What? How?” 

„Well, you know that always I have that instinct when someone was after me and one day I caught Daniel trying to follow me on the streets of Spain. It was hilarious how he tried to excuse himself saying that was a coincidence that we met.” She laughed. „Ok, enough with this.. do you know what I am doing now?”

„You own a club…” I said pausing „for façade. In what exactly do you enter back then in Europe?”

„Gun mafia” she said hesitantly „I’m the Queen of Mafia here and my best friend is the Queen of Mafia in Europe”.

„I knew it would be something like that when that guy Dimitri called you Queen last night. How dangerous it is? Did you talk with the police?” I ask

„With police it’s settled for 3 years ago and dangerous is near the corner every single day. I mean, I have enemies everywhere, but they don’t know me by my face because Dimitri is the one that takes all the meetings and the payment. They don’t know my real name, they just know that the Queen is a red hair girl. Dimitri’s my right hand and I trust him with my life. He already save me more than once.” 

„Do you like what are you doing now? I mean, are you satisfied with this?” I ask

„Yeah, kind of. I mean, yes. I like the power, I like what it feels when I’m in charge of everything.” She smiles „Okay, enough with me. What are you doing here? What have you been doing since you left Seattle?”

„Well, after I left Seattle, I went to NY and build the biggest cybernetic security company in the world… and now I’m moving it here, in LA. I thought it would be better to be home again and this time, for good. I lost myself in work for last 3 years and I didn’t care about anything.” I shrugged.

„Do you still in touch with Mark?” 

„Kind of… I mean I still speak with him when I have the chance. You know, different time zone, sometimes Lyla doesn’t let him speak with me. She is just as stupid as always.” I spoke

    She looks at her wrist at her watch and says „Sorry Andrew, but I have to go to the club. Dimitri will be there in half an hour.” She rushed through the closet. „Do need a place to stay? I mean, where are you going to live? Hey, where are all your stuffs?” she yells while I clean the table. 

    I laugh „I am gonna rent a house or an apartment. I don’t know yet. My stuffs will arrive in few days. Until I’m gonna have a house I will stay in a hotel. I don’t know and really I don’t care. You know me, I don’t give a sh*t about material stuff.” I yell back.

    She’s back in the kitchen, changed in some black denim shorts, a black top, black leather boots and her yawn in her right hand. I see bound a small leather bag on her right thigh and I suppose that in it is her gun. She smiles to me.

„Nonsense. You’re stupid if you think I’m gonna let you rent a house or live in a hotel till you gonna buy a house for you. You’re going to stay here, with me, in the spare bedroom.” She winks.

„Are you sure?” I ask nervously

„Yes.. I mean, I need a cyber aholic who cooks amazing in the house.” She chuckles

„Wow.. sweet as always. I know I f**ked up big time, but to use me this way, I can’t believe. I don’t recognize you anymore.” I pretend to be hurt, placing my hand on my chest. 

„That’s you get when you brake my heart” she laughs and leaves the house. „I want my favorite for lunch and I’ll be back in 2 hours.” I heard her yelling from outside.

    I chuckle on the thought that she behaves like this with me. I don’t know where this relationship is going to get us, but I am sure that I’m gonna fight for her love and trust again. I know she trusts me, but her heart doesn’t trust me anymore. She let me live here with her because she enjoy my company, she missed me and my cooking skills apparently and because she thinks that this house is our house. Back then we bought these house together and it was on names the both of us. But she doesn’t know that after I left Seattle I put the house on her name only. I can’t believe she didn’t check the papers of the house. Okay…why she would check them if she didn’t want to sold it? 

    I stopped talking with myself and look at my watch. I have only an hour to prepare her favorite lunch, soy-glazed cod and bok choy.  

Evelyn’s P.O.V. 

    I get on my bike and ride it to my club. When I get there I search for my phone. 

„F**k, I forget it at home. Hey Aidan, can you give me your phone, please?”

„Sure, boss.” He handed me his phone and I called Alaya going to my office.

„Hello Aidan. Why are you calling me, something’s happened with my sis?” she said nervously

„Hey girl, it’s me. I forgot my phone home” 

„What? You never forget something… what happened?” she asks.

„Actually, nothing. HE’s back.” I chuckled 

„He, do you mean Andrew?” 

„Yeah.. he was at the club last night when I got here.”

„Okay…I know what I have to do. I finish my work on the jet. Love you” she hangs and I know that she’s coming here for me. Until midnight she’ll be here and I love her for knowing me so well. 

    I give Aidan his phone back and pour myself a glass of vodka with cranberries while I wait for Dimitri to arrive. All I can think is Andrew in our kitchen, cooking only in his trousers. „Okay, I have to get laid and NOW. I can’t throw myself to him without him putting some effort. I have to investigate what he has done all these years. I can’t give my heart to him anymore. I trust him, but my heart doesn’t belong to him anymore.” I told myself.

„My queen, I’m here.” I heard Dimitri say

„You’re an hour late. Everything is done?” I say looking to my glass

„I know and sorry for that. Yes. I already delivered the order and take the money. I deposited on your bank account and paid the guys. I’m late cause I had to deal with a mole.”

„It was Gabe?” I asked calmly

„Yes. How did you know?” he said curiously and I chuckled 

„Dimitri, how many times do I have to tell you that I know everything, even though everybody thinks that you’re the head here?”

„You’re right. My apologies, my lady.” He takes the seat next to me pouring himself a glass of whiskey.

„You killed him?”

„No, I didn’t dare to do that without your approval. He’s in the basement. I think he’s awake now. Do you wanna go and talk to him?” he laugh

„I call you to clean the mess.” I sat up and go to the basement. When I entered he was looking right in my eyes.

„Good morning Gabe.” I smile

„Who the f*ck are you? Don’t tell me Dimitri send you to seduce me to tell for who I work.” He laughed

„Aww, sweet boy, you don’t know who I am, right?” I smiled devilish taking a seat in front of him

„You’re some random chick who f***s with Dimitri. I don’t understand why he would send you here. Go back and call your boss” he said pissed off. I laugh loudly.

„Let me introduce myself.” I opened the door and yelled for Dimitri. He enters with me in the basement. 

„Queen!” he nods me.

„Wait, why are you calling her queen. Oh, right, she’s the one who you’re f**king” Gabe said

In the moment he finished speaking I put my gun on his mouth and I start chuckling.

„Oh my, someone has a filthy mouth.” I turn my head to Dimitri „What did he do?”

„He stole some guns and money from us, several times. I think he’s working for Mario’s gang.” Dimitri said calmly

„It’s true?” I asked patiently Gabe

„Yes” he said

„Do you believe in God?” I ask

„What?”

„Answer me. I never repeat myself.” I start loosing my patience

„I guess… I don’t know.” He said nervously

„Well, I believe in God. Let me tell you a short story. You don’t know me, cause I don’t want any of you to know who is your real boss. It’s safer for me and for my business this way.” I wink. „Dimitri is calling me queen because I’m the real QUEEN. You know that this world in ran by two queens. I’m the one in this part of the world, and my sister is queen on the other part. So, basically, you and your stupid boss Mario work for me but no one of you know that. You think you could stole from me and I wouldn’t find out?” I yell „Do you know what I do with the dogs that barks the hand that feeds? I kill them.” His eyes almost popped out his head at my words.

„Any last wish?” I ask smiling
