Her Beep. Beep. Beep Reaching out to turn my alarm off. Been awake since thinking about how today will unfold, Too tired because I couldn’t sleep and my anxiety had kept me in bed. Today is my 18th birthday, I couldn’t help but reflect how far I have come from the day dad brought me home when I was 5 till now. The room was filled with boxes and a little cold but at least I had Mr snuggles with me. The necklace moved on its on and gently placed on my neck and with a twist of his hand it was held in place, I thanked him.
