The President and CEO of Pearl Inc. had returned to New York after being away from home some twenty years. It's only been five years since her return. In that short time, she'd had grown Pearl Inc. fierce and fast. This fifth New Year in business was to mark the prosperity she had achieved and hopefully well into the next decade if possible.
Her presidency over Pearl Inc. occupied so much of her waking time that a social life had become almost nonexistent for her. Once a year is the only time she makes an appearance, and that's at her famous luxury New Year's Party. She strolled up and down the large conference room as Jimmy Choos clicked against the marble floor. Then she finally paused, glancing at the young ladies.
